The idea that so many low value men seriously expect women to split the rent when moving in with them is so bonkers to me. The kicker is that some of these guys also expect the woman to stay at home when having children. Well genius, if you can't do the bare minimum of a decent man and put a roof over your gf/wife's head now, how exactly do you expect to be able to provide for your family when the woman is not working and the baby is burning through clothes and food?

Men don't really think about the situation logically. They just expect that the woman will work the same amount of hours as him, that their house will stay clean, baby will be looked after, dinner will be on the table in the evening, they'll get to come home and watch football, and they'll still get sex every night. All of this is pretty much supposed to happen by magic.
