Starting to get sick of the guys on OLD. I think if I met a guy IRL it could be better because I'd be able to observe them from afar - guys from OLD are complete strangers and can create a tailored persona to lure you in based on the personality shown in your profile. However if it's a regular group that a guy's been a part of, they know it'll seem weird to the others if they suddenly start acting different when a girl joins the group. Also, they'd have more at stake if they wanted to start acting dodgy with me due to mutual friends being involved.

I was considering going on Meetup for this, e.g. the sport meetups or nights out. However there's no assurance that the same people will be turning up each week. So I'm open to more suggestions on the types of groups to join to meet potential partners?
