FDR has saved my relationship. Things were super rocky, I was feeling disrespected (he was talking to his ex/complimenting/flirting with her, hitting on random Instagram/Reddit girls, etc) and we'd decide to stop talking for a bit and I'd end up just taking it. I stopped apologizing for telling him what he did was unfair to me. I didn't "let things go" when he wanted me to. Now he knows our relationship depends on his behavior and he's been a lot better.

My good friend was divorced and doing OLD and definitely kissed a few frogs. This guy she really liked was using her for sex but she was holding out hope he would want more. He would have her come to his place, have sex, then tell her to leave because he had to wake up early. Months of this go by and she got fed up and told him she felt like a prostitute driving home at midnight. She asked him what he wanted exactly. He said “well I sure do like the sex”. She dumped him and changed her OLD profile to specify that she was NOT in the slightest interested in a FWB. Not only that but she had clear salary requirements.

She ended up meeting a man who exceeded all that she wanted and they got married two years later. He paid for her during their courtship. Later, she started paying for things also, after she knew he was serious. Btw, both were single parents so they’ve got four teenagers living with them but they are happy and he respects her. She will tell him when he does something she doesn’t like and sometimes gets downright pissed at him, and he’s not a beta at all and still adores her. Her first husband repeatedly cheated on her - she found out about them all at once and left him. She was always the one doing everything - and put him through college as well. She went from being a pickmeisha to an I-pick-yousha! Her new husband is so much more helpful too.

That’s what you do ladies, don’t settle for LVM when there are HVM looking for love and commitment! Don’t be afraid to be assertive and get what you want. Don’t waste your precious time and energy on men who are using you, taking you for granted, disrespecting you in any way.

Yes, we are the prize. We have options. Much more than men. Just keep your standards, better to be single than lower them!

I have been seeing a few men lately, all in the top 15% of income earners, with two of them being in the top 8% of income earners.

They're handsome, warm, caring, swell individuals and one guy wants to be exclusive after 1 week but I'm dodging it because I kinda don't want to give up the others.

:/ They're all paying for everything and I'm getting flown out to Miami to spend this upcoming holiday weekend with one of them.

I'm actually having the time of my life and I am so glad I stopped seeing worthless losers. Once you date men in the top, other men below them begin to look like steaming piles of shit with pure garbage personalities to boot... and you can't help but see them as horrible life choices and feel bad for the women who still haven't figured it out

So I have only discovered this sub and the subsequent literature/articles for about a month, and boy am I glad I did. All my life I have been a pick me and it got me nothing but heartache. So the last month I have been applying these strategies although I definitely need more practise. Both guys I was dating turned out to be only after one thing (what else is new huh) but this time I found out before we actually did the 'thing' ;)

Although it saddens me that they both turned out to be such dipshits who ditched me as soon as it became clear they were paying for the dates and there would be no ehmm.. adult time afterwards, FDS is already reaping its rewards. Before, I would have definitely felt sad about them not contacting me again and probably would have reached out myself, I did NOT do that this time. And boy, does this work wonders for myself esteem! Next to that, I am 100% certain I saved myself a world of hurt getting involved with these guys. Pretty sure the last one was a bit of a psychopath too, so phew!

This sub has been a lifesaver for me. Everytime I feel a little low about the state of affairs or in doubt of something, I start reading here and feel instantly powered up.

I was playing off three guys to see which one i would like the most. One of them really stood out and constantly went above and beyond. He is very successful and once I knew he was serious, I really got to know him and was happy with my choice.

We're getting married in 9 days, he has bought us a house near the million mark and consistently shows me how much I matter to him. I love him to death and he is the best man I could have ever asked for.

I am 33. Never ever settle.

I know this is old but I have found success with the HVM and proposal of my dreams plus an overseas wedding to my ultimate location and not one but two engagement rings (one a diamond band and one a square cut) thank you FDS!!!
