Is this in Divorce? That thread is getting rough. In under an hour I've already seen a handful of women getting screwed. Three stood out big times:

One where it's the 26yo child of an alcoholic leaving her mum who put up with his cheating, alcohol abuse, being a jobless bum, etc. and he dropped her after 30 years of marriage for a side piece because her mum has Crohn's.

The other where a woman was married for 22 years, SAHM, four children. He decided to leave to another state and live with some woman he worked with? Now she has no money or support and is totally screwed.

The third I vaguely remember a woman being the breadwinner, mum of two and now fearing having to pay alimony. If I remember he was a cheater, I think a gambler, and had depression so he didn't work and the woman was saddled with taking care of her two kids from a previous relationship and HIS two kids from a previous relationship as well as him.

This seems like another side piece divorce story. Tragic.

Why does it sound like he isn’t living in the same house as her? Military? Business? Or is he just being a super baby by emailing and refusing to talk in person?

My guess is that husband was cheating with someone who was also in a relationship. The new boyfriend/girlfriend is freshly broken up and needs somewhere to stay. I also assume this is why he doesn’t want legal action. Infidelity in the courtroom not a good look.

If he isn’t already hooking up with someone else...he might have an ex wife or something who is demanding child support, ect. He literally is just sweating over money and his past was probably a secret.

Yikes... hubby did a bad.

And he thinks he can control the situation by being aggressive. Unless he’s a LOT more clever than he seems, the best action is immediate and massive legal action. Seriously, I doubt he has the legal authority to kick her out (state laws vary so much). He’s hoping she’ll just roll over.

ZVM at least. Hope he gets exposed and his new playmate leaves him too
