Hard lesson: if she gives you shit on her period she's a shitty girl who has temporarily lost the ability to cover it up.

Good women get irrational, they get a bit down, they get moody, they get miserable but they do NOT go on an attacking spree against you.

If you have to cuddle her a lot, that's fine.

If she attacks you, she is a terrible girl.

This is a tough one to learn, but this is my experience.

Meanwhile: hormones are no excuse. Do you get excused for murder if your testosterone is too high? Of course not. Same for her. She's still responsible for her shit. If she steps out of line, you slowly start counting to 3. If you get to 3, you walk out and ignore her for a few days.

Good girls will apologise (you still walk out though). Bad girls will give you shit. Good girls will apologise 48 hours later for her hormones. Bad girls will tell you that you should have stuck around while she insults you.

In short: don't stand for it, don't let her be her own excuse for her behaviour.

I try to time it to always be at their place during their period and we put a dark colored towel under. If you're in LTR, you can still go down on her if you find it exciting for a change, but if it's a plate or fwb you shouldn't go down on her anyway. Period sex is exciting and mixes things up a bit. If you don't like period sex, then I have zero advice. I guess do something else and treat her the same. Let her treasure the time with you.
