Hi friends,

I posted a couple weeks ago about my boyfriend problems and here I am with another problem, same boyfriend. My boyfriend and I have been going out for almost 5 months now. Recently, I asked him if we could go on a 2-night trip to a nearby destination welcoming visitors. He hesitated and said that we should spend a night together at a hotel in the city first (neither of us have our own place). He said it's because a trip would require planning and "we haven't even spent a night together, how do we know we are okay with being with each other every day" (does this even make sense?). We've been talking about doing this for months now. I've told him a couple months ago this is what I want to do once the covid situation permits. He always talks about wanting to go to Asia and cruise trips with me (foreign places, being together for 1-2 weeks), and yet this is the response I get for a 3 day-2 night local trip?

In the end he said that if I really wanted to, we can look into it. My question is, should I do all the planning first and then tell him I have it all organized, let's go?

I'm 27 and my bf is 30. The first time we met was for a one night stand, so we've had sex before and we've spent an evening, a night, an a morning togther. Our dates usually consists of walks in parks/neighbourhood/malls, restaurants, and hours making out in our cars. We see each other 1-3 times per week.

*Update: Well, I questioned bf if he's really uncomfortable with this. He just said he's not uncomfortable, "just have to plan it." And asked if I have any ideas.
