Gays and women are attracted to the same thing: lean, muscular men with aesthetically-pleasing faces and decent grooming.

That's why so many gays are in excellent physical shape. They're naturally Red Pilled, to a certain degree. A straight guy can be a Beta schlub and still pull hot girls with lots of money and/or status. A fat fag has zero chance with hot guys if he isn't hot himself.

As a bi married to a gay man I can chime in. I like my husband because he's not fucking mental like most women I've met. I have a low tolerance for irrational behavior because of being raised in by drunks (I don't drink because of it) and he fits the bill.

Build and behavior wise he's not especially masculine but he's not feminine either, he's kind of a generic guy and his emotions don't go out the window. He just gets a little grumpy when hungry and doesn't like being overworked by his job and laughs at dumb memes. We're both flexible but top preferring switches and enjoy both roles, we both can get side action from other people if we want (doesn't happen often, we are both picky and turn down opportunities often) and we're smart about STD risks and such. It's never been an issue for the relationship going on 10 yrs now because the side people we fuck aren't better than each other.

Neither of us are particularly attracted to feminine men, or overbearing stereotypes like gay 'daddy' / lisping / crossdressing / leather bondage / etc. He likes ass on both, I like nice tits on women and fit physique on men. I've joked that we are the gay equivalent of the 'I just want to grill, man' meme. It feels like a low bar to be a well adjusted being who happens to be gay, but I get that a lot of queer people don't come from a good place.

Not all do; it depends why they're gay.

Female abused gays might go for feminine twinks or traps because it's a woman's body with a man's mind, and therefore safe but still fuckable.

Male abused gays may go for a masculine bear or authority figure type.

Could also easily go the exact opposite way where they try to avoid visual representation of their abuser.

None of the above is real psychology of course, but the different flavors of gays shows that there's a variety in what they're attracted to.
