A bit cringy how nowdays everyone wants to be an alpha thinking any random cares on the street about what happened. Yeah, lets say you would've acted like a wannabe alpha and stood up for youself and the guy would drop you on the pavement. Now you gotta be in the hospital for a while and instead of living and focusing on your goals you are a vegetable because you wanted to be an alpha. Worth it? Up to you. P.S - its best to not engage in street altercations, you never know what can happen

I don't like how people here hamster about how avoiding fights make them smart, but in this case not reacting was the way to go. He felt slighted because you did not step out of his way and that's basically it. I had a guy shout "fucking idiot" at me because our shoulders bumped. The real problem here is that a small thing like that is making you feel bad internally when you should just have shrugged it off and not wasted energy even thinking about it.

What do you gain responding to people like that? That person, is someone you will likely not see again in so long you probably won’t remember his face, and out of any altercation you gain nothing.

If you feel angry, I don’t blame you. Nobody likes being insulted. But what value does his words carry, aside from what you assign to them? He is just one random miserable fuck in the street.

Allowing a random asshole who means nothing to you to sucker you into a fight is not Alpha.

You did the right thing. The risks associated with challenging this dude far outweighed any benefit. Even if you did kick his ass, you could have ended up being arrested or worse.
