I really enjoy old school Hong Kong action films. John Woo, Jackie Chan, Yuen Woo Ping, Jet Li, and some Donnie Yen.

Flash Point with Donnie Yen was pretty cool. Jackie Chan does his own stunts and almost dies but never does. Dude's amazing IMO.

There's also some cool Korean movies like The Man From Nowhere and A Company Man. They're both about hitmen. These films are enjoyable and a great break from Hollywood's cliches although you can find similar tropes in them.

We were soldiers is the best war movie of all time, highly recommended.

Saving private Ryan is good aswell.

Apocalypse now is less realistic but still an amazing war movie.

The Dirty Harry movies, actually, anything with Clint Eastwood is amazing except for the bridges of madison county.

For something a little more obscure try Northmen, a viking saga. It has 0 SJW shit and is a great movie that few know about.

Drunken Master 2 with Jackie chan is one of my personal favourites.

Westerns aren't really my thing but the movie Rio Bravo with John Wayne and Dean Martin stands up magnificently even today.

Highlander was a decent movie with minimal SJWness.

There's a Cult classic movie called Vanishing Point, look for the 1971 one, best car chase movie ever.

IP man. Ive seen 1,2, and 3 on netflix. Its old school chinese style simple man in village beats up the corrupt bad guys. But the fighting is awesome. Mike Tyson is in it!

You have to watch old movies. Start in the 80s and work backwards. Mafia, war and western films - with some of the cliche 80s action stuff too. That all leans towards a Reagan-right mindset, urban decay, etc.

Film noir stuff from the 50s with Humphrey Bogart is best. Zero fucks.

War - Das Boot, Come and See, Stalingrad (1993), All Quiet on the Western Front (30s or 70s)
