Exactly. I was extremely resentful of the fact that my ex wanted to go 50/50 in our relationship, especially given that he was paying a mortgage and I wasn’t named on it (but was still expected to pay half of it), wanted to live in my apartment for free for an extended period of time, but wouldn’t extend the same favor for me. I hate having to act masculine in a relationship. I act masculine when it comes to my career, but in a relationship I like my bills to be paid, I like to be pampered, I like to courted and treated like a woman. It gives a chance for men to act like men and women to act like women. It’s exhausting for a woman to act like a man.
