Women are the gatekeepers to sex. Men are the gatekeepers to commitiment. When either gives it away too freely, they discount themselves and their value.

Women have power that men don't have and men have power that women don't have. They can compliment each other in a normal and healthy setting. Men like some things and women like others, they have some of what we want, we have some of what they want. I've only seen this red pill stuff this weekend but how I would describe it is... Imagine some women who were overweight/didn't really care about their looks. They get mad cause they can't get a boyfriend, they start getting bitter and hating men and hatch a plan to get in shape and look great so they can get a guy to support them and spend all his money and "get revenge." Kinda extreme reaction and stupid right? Red pill is the same but guys. I prefer to enjoy the company of the other sex and appreciate their strengths and enjoy mine, I won't be taking any pills of any colours.

If you really did read red pill men with some level of frequency you would know that women are not the primary goal for Redpill men. Women are the byproduct of your efforts to better yourself. I lift for me. women giving me attention now that I'm in shape and look better in clothes is a byproduct. Getting money and acquiring status elevates my position in life and enables me to do better things, a byproduct of that is women wanting to associate with my success. Building my frame enables me to handle my own shit and be strong for myself, the by product is that women are attracted to the masculinity I have cultivated.

When a man is doing these things (building wealth/status, lifting, frame), it actually reduces power because he doesn't need a woman for his goals/happiness. More specifically, it reduces power from you because he doesn't need you. If you are familiar with the concept of spinning plates then you would realize this because if a man isn't getting anything out of you then he has another option. If a man has options then exactly what power do you have over that man? See what i mean?

I disagree with this. In general, men need women less than the other way around. They don't get attached as easily and therefore women can be interchangeable for them. In real life, I rarely hear men stressing out over whether a girl likes them back whereas women are always overanalyzing their dates to the point of reciting text messages to their friends almost word for word.

The power that you're referring to is short-lived. Sure, it's easy to get a guy to buy you dinner or to do you favors if they think they might have a chance to sleep with you, but once they figure out things aren't going anywhere, any self-respecting man would move onto the next warm body.

Define "power"...

I mean, we have privileges, for sure. We can manipulate the majority of men pretty easily. Sex is cheap.

But for everything else, it's still a man's world. Society is very much designed by men for men, so I'd argue that our prize is a consolation, at best.

IMO it's easier for a guy to get a harem of Stacy's than what it is for us to get the commitment of Chad. #economics101

Men and women both have roles to fulfill in a bigger society. Women being "submissive" isn't about being inferior, it's about skill (women are better at many things).

Similarly men being "dominant" is about fulfilling a role where they have more talents (ie extremely difficult self-controlling ones emotions to make better decisions)

Both complement the other (in an ideal scenario)

I can't really get in touch with my feelings and other things socially as well as a woman can, and I can't read body language as well as a woman can.

On the flip side I can self manage a bit better while completely in my own as an individual more than a woman can, because my mind is a bit better suited to that sort of thing.

As a man I often see things in women that piss me off (as I imagine there is vice versa), but there are also many unique things about women to appreciate (from a non sexual frame) that I won't see in a man

It's all about men: Staying thin for their man, being feminine to get positive attention around men, staying submissive to avoid fights Men. Men. Men. Aren't we the ones with all the power then?

Why does everything have to be one way or another? It goes both ways. Aomic said it well: Women have power that men don't have, and men have power that women both have. It isn't 100% full scale either way. Men have some power, women have some powers. It should be this way. It wouldn't be healthy or good for either party to have 100% full scale power.
