You can be targeted. In the workplace, you can be falsely accused by women, or attacked by white knights. In public, you could be attacked. Most people are part of the system, and will fight to defend the system. It's easier to fly under the radar, use grey man tactics, and avoid detection.

It is unknown to most and poorly understood by those aware of it but not a MGTOW themselves. Also the government/society is terrified of the implications of it spreading. Most people will assume you are misogynistic and the government encourages this shaming because more people being MGTOW will lower the already unsustainable birthrate, will encourage men to be responsible with their money like paying off debt aka reducing government income sources. Basically the government will lose money, population, and power if this becomes common. See why we are do hated against?

A lot of people will mentally equate MGTOW = Nazi, because they're stupid. However, the reality is that this can harm you professionally, financially, and personally if the wrong people find out about it therefore it's much, much better to keep it to yourself.

Also, you can benefit from this shit system we live in if enough people don't wake up and continue to support it. Once a critical mass of people figure it out the whole house of cards comes crashing down, which can be annoying.

Because (in my honest opinion) it will be infiltrated, marginalized and then disbanded. Think back in recent history: Tea Party, Occupy Wall Street (wether you agree with the agendas or not). Both efforts were infiltrated by opponents and groupies.....both efforts were made to look ridiculous. MGTOW is not a movement nor does it have any "leadership"....it's men waking up to the raw deal our culture has placed in front of us and then it's men just opting-out. The more its discussed, the more it can be analyzed and then divided and conquered.
