I don’t try to meet woman standards. I do what a man is supposed to do. Secure the bag, hit the gym, and provide for my loved ones . The moment you put her on a pedestal is the moment she begins to lose interest.

Pretty sure the average income (median, not mean, though in this case it doesn't matter that much either way) is far below 6 figures, and that's before talking about the amount of debt most young adults have even right out of college.

Also a lot of 6 figure jobs tend to be stressful and demanding to the point where working will consume a person's life and forcing said person to slack on other aspects of living.

My standard for women is that they blow me on the first date, and not care about how fat, poor, and slovenly I am. Is it really so hard for them to meet this? It’s way easier to blow a stranger than to get 6 figs.

What Men Hear From Women - have an attractive face, be above average in most or all categories, don't have a small dick, be a functional man, be a functional woman, make 50k to 120k minimum, don't be a push over, be educated, be sensitive when it's necessary, don't be dull but be stoic in times of crisis, be good in bed, be a provider, be assertive, want children, know your place, be okay with my past sexual experience, know your value and don't overstep that, understand woman because women want a man that just gets it, have good work ethics, don't have many vices, have a direction in life, keep chasing your woman and being romantic, have high standards but none that are inconvenient to me or make me feel bad, etc, etc, etc.

Meh, its doable. But what to do women bring to the table?

It’s stupid to expect higher standards of a partner than you do yourself. Women shouldn’t expect men to make 6 figures if they’re not capable/willing to put in the work to do the same.

I think it depends entirely on the person.

This is just my personal experience, so take from that what you will. But the things you listed (six figure income, well groomed, etc) are mostly the standards for upper-middle class professional women in affluent communities. I think one thing this sub often ignores is the bias that's placed on middle class/upper middle class suburbanites and their standards. All their life they've been surrounded by preppy, smart, white-bread guys. It becomes extremely hard to choose when pretty much all the guys in your demographic look the same, have the same hobbies, and have similar careers and education levels. Therefore they get extraordinarily picky because they have to be.

For guys that come from lower middle class/working class backgrounds (like myself), a lot of women in our demographic tend to have different standards. They mostly just want a guy with a steady job and a decent level of education who doesn't seem like a fuckboi. They tend to be a lot more relaxed and forgiving because priorities are different. Sure there are some that are still picky and want to run off with that rich guy, but for long term relationships, they're mostly looking for stability and affection.
