Have what may be a BPD mother. So can relate. BPD will intensely bond to you, so intense you think you’re connected internally. But they split. They just split. One day you’re eating grapes in paradise and the next burning in a lake of Fire. And when the ship is romantic, if you let her in AND THEY WANT IN you’ll experience extreme highs. Ad they’re real, too. To her it is. She doesn’t know she’s crazy tho. That it’s not the detailed, nuanced way a healthy person comes to know and trust and bond with you over time.

If you’ve got some real problems (and you may wanna examine that if you knowingly dated a BPD or have a consistent pattern of dating the ultra-crazy) you may wanna consider help. Personally ngl Jesus saved me from what I could’ve become.

But otoh if you’re neuro-typical a way out is to correct your thoughts. You’re not seeing things clearly. You don’t know how vengeful these girls can be, remorselessly so. You don’t know how they can bond with you like I said before so intense, and then bond with someone else that intense soon after. Astonishingly soon. You don’t see that, probably because you’re still hooked on the sex.

And real talk, that fixation on sex and genital stimulation can be the undoing of a man. Sounds like you’ve got a good thing going job wise. Don’t make unwise decisions man. It is so easy to fall into the depths of hell following a woman down there. Think about your own sanity. About what you put up with in your life. About what future you wanna build for yourself, for your kids if you have them, and the kinds of people you wanna expose to your dear friends. Honor the life you’ve been given.

I think bpd girls are hard to recover from. The sort of emotional connection, love bombing and the amazing sex is not something you get over easily especially seeing how they move on so quickly. So don't beat yourself up too much and take the required time to heal and self reflect because that's something you can do as opposed to your bpd ex who will be stuck in her ways forever. I went through the same thing and it gets better. Also you should ignore people telling you're a pussy here, a bpd girl would break their frame in no time, they just don't know what they're talking about
