And it keeps swinging - periodically, back and forth, and back and forth and way too late you realise it’s a repetitive pattern of the same ol‘ push and pull. You can’t stop watching, you can’t disengage, you know it will swing - thank god - from the right to the left. You observe. The ticking sound drives you mad. Why can’t I let go? The ticking sound becomes noise. You cry a lot. It keeps swinging. You decide to close your eyes. You still hear it ticking. You open your eyes. You see the pedal. Tick tock. And then, one day, you close your eyes, you take a deep breath. You walk away.

I recently told a guy to buzz off and never text me again because he contacted me out of the blue after ghosting me months ago. His response was to call me an fat ugly brown girl with a giant nose and that I was a “pig monster.”

A really ugly NVM was pestering me for a relationship, continuously targeted my self-esteem and when I politely told him, I'm not interested --- He had the audacity to ask me if I was a lesbian since I wasn't attracted to his ugly ass!!!?
