This may be irrelevant but I was just reading up on the stuff that happened in the UK.

Do not get me wrong no one should be murdering or kidnapping anybody and I don't even really want to make it political or about that but something that is interesting is what has been going on afterward

We already see a bunch of articles about how men should be stopping other men and should make women feel safer and yet, it's basically the same behavior people have always told men

That's all I remember when I was a kid is my mom telling me I need to treat girls right and make sure they're safe and that really has not changed that much.

But the guardian recently put out an article about how men should make women feel safe and here I am thinking

"So you basically want me to fill in the old patriarchal role of being the provider and protector?"
