I'm about to be in the same boat and I'm thinking about meetup groups and other ways to break into larger circles. However, I think the best investment is finding and cultivating BFF situations both male and female, primarily people who are also interested in making friends. This lets you breakthrough in bars and arcades more easily. Even one guy friendales it less weird to open a group of girls socially.

By chance when you mean cold approaching, do you mean like no chooser signals? Or do you look for chooser signals?

Because IMO cold approaching isn’t worth it at all, unless your trying to improve your social skills with women when your inexperienced.

But since your in a new city and especially with restrictions, you gotta get your tinder set up. If you have to set up your phone on video mode and place it somewhere and take out the best shot. Or even get a random to take a picture of you.

You're giving a pua vibe in this post alone. I can only imagine what kinda vibe girls get when you approach. It's good you're getting out there but without knowing you I can tell your approaching isn't natural and I don't blame ya, it takes a lot of practice and even then it's not a gold-mine. Try finding some local social groups through hobbies etc... Not saying cold approaching can't work but it's much easier when you have some sort of previous rapport built and especially easier when you're working with a good base like it seems you are.
