I hear people saying that governments will introduce a bachelor tax. And i think to myself, it's already here. In Australia the government gives welfare for people with children unless they earn very comfortably. And since lifelong MGTOWs are unlikely to have children this is basically tantamount to a bachelor tax.

This problem will become worse, though. Governments will become more aggressive and more blatant about disincentivising male freedom in the future.

I'd still rather pay a bachelor tax than a marriage tax though.

Indeed. The deal was to leverage the population's productivity value by encouraging men to work more.

The government use to do this by offering women to every man for the purpose of using his productivity to build nations.

Now, the government does the same thing. However, in a much different manner. They're using women as a weapon against anyone who doesn't comply and offer their money, resources and services to the government.

It was the carrot, now it's the stick.

Either way, the man is and always has been a disposable work horse.

Marriage is a tool to control the relationship between men and women. With modern changes, marriage has retained the protections given to women when men had the authority and responsibility of the de facto guardian of their wife. All while transferring none of the responsibility to the woman.

Most men benefit from a state mandated system of long term relationships.

Because most men are weak, expendable and undesirable in the eyes of most women.

If you remove the arbitrary system (and restriction) of monogamous marriage, you get what we have currently. 70%+ of men left without viable partners because they are not in the low percentage of high value men women are looking to monkeybranch to. And a large population of women that end up either without children altogether, or with a broken relationship due to single motherhood or divorce.

If you are looking to have a single partner, grow old and have a family, the state, if aimed at the goal of the nuclear family, is your greatest ally.

If you're a high value man looking to fuck and inseminate as many women as you can with as little consequence as possible - the state is your enemy.
