There are some people who are acquainted or have been acquainted with a woman who doesn't use profanity. They believe that the use of such words to not fit their character and so attempt to avoid using such words in the same that those particular religious sects avoid using certain words.

But there are some women who say that a woman should use profanity because in doing so they put themselves in the same level as men and achieve equality of self-expression. They will say that "if a man could use profanity, a woman should too."

Some still say that it is in bad taste for a woman to wear pants and flats and although I do not have problems with this, there are many men and women who do because they see pants and flat shoes as unwomanly. In other words, they are things that belong to men.

This is where the argument against woman's use of profanity comes from. That overall, profanity is unladylike and that a woman ruins her reputation by repeatedly using these words in her vocabulary.
