There is something about doubt which spooks a woman. There are so many doubtful men in the world that despite their hard-working mindset, skills, talent, etc... they are still no match for the confident loser. This is because this man shows confidence in his abilities, which is something quite attractive to women. The confident loser knows who he is.

"But where is his loyalty!? His comforting words? Why is he so selfish and cruel to these women!?"

He does what he does because that is his mindset. He is confident about it and this confidence is what attracts these women. They placed their chips on this bet because they expect a return on their investment. Their emotions tell them "One day, you and this man will have a great life together"

The doubtful gentleman, although he is certainly more scrupulous and devoted to his duties is something that also many women find boring and unromantic.

They don't see anything too dashing about the man who has his head buried in the "Financial Times" and who is always reading up on technology, the crusades, and whatever the IMF has gotten itself into. Not at all, they prefer a man who is exciting and thrilling, even though this thrill may be coming more from his creditors and not his own wallet.

They ignore the misery of their present circumstances in the hopes of having an improved and ideal future.

The goal, ladies, is to find a man who is confident, romantic, thrilling but also diligent and respectful. Quite the jackpot, isn't it? And yet folks are still gambling.
