One word, email. My ex wouldn’t deal with ever seeing me again so it was email only. When there was an emergency we met in a restaurant.

Tell her she’s bothering you and you want to do family business by email. Then avoid talking to her at games etc. Transfer the children at school.

Your not married and have reason to put up with her shit.

Also, if she’s rude to you in emails you have a record. That record saved my case when years later my ex took me to court.

I've found silence is a powerful weapon. If you're on the phone and she starts going off, just remain silent. It will get uncomfortable, but do not talk. Let her burn herself out. When she calms down, then talk. Can also be done in person. If you rise up, it escalates. No response is a response. A very powerful one. I do this all the time now and it's amazing how well it works. If you do try it, let us know how it works for you.

When my ex started her crap, walked away or hung up the phone. Simples.

That's with co-parenting.

If there was something important,she talks sensibly or not at all and I went to txts only.

Txts are a problem as they can be shared, so they most often don't wanna txt crazyness.

No contact. When it’s time for kids to come home, I just text my oldest, I’m here and she comes to my car and we happily on our way home.

email only. If you check my groups and some posting history, you can see i am part of the cyber/digital forensics crowd.

email. no texts. apple and google email can be retrieved from their servers (apple data and google takeout) which show the full metadata/authoritative email. Apple and google also allow some retrieval of text messages from their servers.

NO TEXT MESSAGES. why? it's very easy to fake text messages between two people through the graphic design / fun websites online and- she can change her friend's contact in her phone to your name... and then send whatever she wants, making you look dangerous. *most* law enforcement groups don't have the $ or technical ability to discern that she's faking the texts.

Very simply.. 'officer, I do not text her. everything is in writing over email.' they pull your google takeout chat log/ apple chat log from the big firms and there's no comms between the two of you... now who has the false police charge case? she does.

Pickup and drop-off can be coordinated via kids. You pull up to pick up the kid, you text the kid or freaking honk the horn. No comms w crazy.

Lastly look into the usb shape voice recorders. plugs into a laptop, looks normal, or just is in your pocket or coat. Flip the small dial one way and it's continual recording. Flip it the other, it's burst recording as conversation happens. Amazon sells them.

lastly :) when/if you have to send her $, make a copy of the transaction and store it somewhere safe till the kid is well past the age where she can come back for more money.

Stick with written communication. Email, text, etc. Or at least do it as much as possible. You probably have to see her from time to time so you can't do it 100%. But as much as possible, stick with immutable writing.
