I'm glad to hear it. But a nitpick: You can't be forced to "go your own way". It is YOUR way. If someone is forcing you in a particular direction, then you are going THEIR way.

MGTOW is freedom. It is saying "I'm not going the way society (or women, or MGTOWs, or anyone else) wants me to go, I'm free from the need to get validation from outside myself".

So, whatever way you go, own it. It is YOUR way.

If your end goal in "getting women" is limited to sex, I suggest paying for it upfront since you're going to be paying for it one way or the other and paying for it upfront is going to be a much better value in most cases. Plus, it's more honest that way, IMHO. Does't have to be a street walker or a lot lizard, you know? Just find some local broad who "services" several men for a small monthly retainer or something.

P.S. Not able to get a woman is not a good reason to go MGTOW, IMHO.

Your only forced into MGTOW if you don't know your options and skills to achieve relationship success. I'm MGTOW only because I'm focusing on business and goals and women aren't worth the effort today.

But here are some options to get a successful relationship if you want to put in the effort.

Go Full Badboy ALPHA Chad, meaning you constantly have a devil my care personally, you show your a high value man with subtle but not overt displays of success with career wealth and women even if it's not true the subtleness makes it easier to believe. Then you make her feel like she isn't worth being with, backhanded complaints, not giving any validation or interest then barely answer any replies and a delayed manner and take 2-4 days to send a new message if nothing was sent before. Punish bad actions even rolling of eyes and be strong and stand your ground on your beliefs and values. If you can do that you will get more success with dates but to get the dates need to be a shiny new object that is around popular locations just hanging out in the gym, clubs, bars. But for online dating is a whole different animal you need Photoshop your abs and look perfect just to get a few messages.
Just plan month long trips to South East Asia and Europe with foreign match-making agencies and dating apps will give several women very interested.
Wait until hard times and Recession hits females hard with a strained relations between men and women to allow women in North America to wake up and be desperate for your attention and then you can be a good option as long as you don't simp up to her demands.

Did you meet online? I think online dating changes the way people think about dating… more like shopping instead of a connection.

so even if you have a good connection there’s the app pinging to make you second guess. There’s something about meeting outside the app that makes dating feel more “real,” especially if you have mutual friends.
