I was always kind of selfish, but took good care of my partners. But I noticed over time I was spending not just alot of money...but time and emotional energy into my women. Whenever I lived with a girl I would stop all my hobbies and everything else to give her all my attention. I was never rich, always around the $20,000 a year mark. When I went single I focused on getting a better career and making more money. I'm 29 and already owned 2 houses on a poverty salary. Stay single and learn Dave Ramseys teachings about good money habits.

I saw this reallity show about boat workers, and one guy was trying to bed this chick. So all day he charmed her, until he just couldn't do it anymore. He had her alone in a hottub, but he just couldn't stomach playing the game for 1 minute longer, let his mask drop & she ran.

Thats it for me: I just can't do it. The game, the lies, the people; its all so bad. I'd rather blow my brains out than go Chad.

Imagine if every girl was Fran Drescher & 'dating' was watching one of her movies.

I feel more relaxed and have a stronger sense of self-direction. I'm much more recharged after some quiet time alone than time with my girl when in a relationship; sometimes even time with good friends drains my mental "batteries" from all the humourous chatter and discussion about life and other philosophical quandaries.

And for whatever reason, since discovering the red pill; when a relationship with a girl doesn't work out for me, my mind sorta experiences that feeling of the "shackles coming off" so to speak; like there's some mental decluttering going on.

I’m super introverted. Have a job that keeps me social, by the time I go home I want to be completely alone. Plus a partner limits your freedoms. I can do whatever the fuck I want this weekend without consulting someone, that is a freedom I will never give up.

Freedom is really addictive. Unlike most addictions I think it is really healthy to crave it.

That said.... I do enjoy female company from time to time and am open to a monogamous relationship- but only under my terms- she lives at her place and I live at mine. Needless to say my relationships only last several months and always end when the female realizes I really am serious about living alone. My experience is that women are not seeking boyfriends, they are seeking victims. They are natural parasites always on the lookout for a better host.

For me I just never enjoyed romance that much. its fun for the first few months but by the end of the third month I find myself feeling sad and suffocated and I don't know why. a lot of my highschool romance ended with me just saying i needed a break 3 months in for reasons I didn't understand. Since then I've transitioned into hook ups or flings where its understood that its not really going anywhere.

Relationships are overrated. You sacrifice way more than actually get from it. I love doing things I love, eating whatever I want, going out, working out, sit at a park and chill without anyone disturbing you. I'm pretty calm and introverted person, but I really wanted company back in the day, now I can feel myself being more self-reliant and even more happier doing most of these things alone. For companionship or socializing I just go out with friends, have a few beers or play few matches of video game. Also, just got my bachelors degree in electronics, so new job, new challenges ahead, lots of new goals I've set up for myself, so no time for relationships and etc. Gotta work hard while young to enjoy life later on.

I can't think of a single reason to not remain single. I can't name one thing I can't do as a single man that i can't do in a relationship. In a relationship, however, I see a whole sea of things I can't do that I can as a single man.

One doesn't "remain" single, like single is a bad thing.

It implies I should have some women on a leash i have to pay to feed. And what do I get out of that relationship?

Tldr, I was single for so long because of an a hunger for freedom and not feeling ready to commit to something as serious as a full on relationship and partly because I wasn't mentally, financially or spiritually ready for that

I have never married but I currently have a girlfriend . I've been single before now though for 15 years. Before that I was in a 5 year relationship that I have no complaints about and ended organically.

Why was I single for 15 years? Partly by choice and partly by circumstance. I ended my last relationship because I wasn't ready for commitment and felt I had more adventures and playing the field to embark on.

After about 5 years of being single I went through a phase where I was looking for something serious. But I realised after searching for 2 years and not finding anyone that maybe it wasn't what I wanted after all. So I abandoned that idea and went back to playing the field, learnt some pua and social skills and got quite good with girls and had a rotation of them. Then one bad experience kinda knocked me off my perch for several years and I found myself in a headspace with a lack of trust and suddenly I found intimately connecting with women challenging again, though I still had my flings, it just became incredibly difficult and tiresome, became like hard work and was causing a lot of frustration.

It took about 4 years and lots of deliberate big life changes and alot of personal development to fully regain my trust and build my old sense of confidence back and be able to feel more relaxed with girls and able to connect with them again

Shortly after, i became open again to the idea of having a gf, i was serial dating and screening girls for 2 years, think I dated about 400 or 500 girls in those 2 years till I met one who I feel comfortable getting close to. Still in early stages, still feeling it out but i think she is ok. I am older now, had 25 years dating and hook up experience, i have met every type of girl and know red flags when i see them, apart from the one bad experience that wrecked me that i mentioned here and a few young boy heart breaks (which dont count now because I've forgotten about it), all my experiences with girls have been great, I'm friends still with many of them. I've been lucky to know a lot of good people who have kept me in circles of mostly good people, and i feel greatful to be part of the communities I've been in.

I feel privileged when I talk to some of the older mgtow who have been put through the grinder and I can totally understand why there are so many men who have just gone...."ok! I've had enough of this! "

The laws need to change and men need to be cautious .

I am a free man and I want to stay that way. I have dependents (children) so I have responsibilities that require me to provide and protect -but I do not want another child. If I were to date, that woman would see my children as competition for attention and I've already been through that. A woman's love is selfish. A man's is sacrificial. So, I guess a woman would get in the way of my love for my children.

For me, remaining single is better in every way. I have more time to do the things I want to do, more money, and more freedom. Also, near zero risk of a false rape/abuse/harassment accusation. Very low stress, and life is just easy.

The only thing that might be nice is having someone to talk to...but then I remember what it's like to talk to most women, and I'm grateful to just have silence.

I'm not enjoying remaining single. I just don't find relationship which would be interesting.

I have complex schedule, as i work AND study in evening class. Also i'll start some sport habit, and i saving money to buy an house later.

I'm also kind of an hermit. I found pleasure from myself. Don't have a lot of friend, didn't have a lot of girlfriend.

So, for me, a girlfriend would mean a lot of effort (change my wardrobe, change my schedule, do some activities than i hate, flirting (i'm quitte shy so of course)... And a lot of sacrifice (money, time, i don't have a lot of those yet).

And it's wont bring me that much. Sex is cool, i guess, but not worth the rest of my life. Emotional support could be great, but most of the time, the partner ask for it, don't give it. Love is just a chemical reaction and is temporary.

Beside that, you have all the problem. What append when love vanish? argue, sad picture, problematic separation, regrets. In the best case. I don't count the end of some relationship, or the false accusation, or the risk to meet someone crazy, or the sexual illness, or the false accusation.

i'm more or less happy, work, get better, live in peace. I don't want to disrupt all for an ultra-expensive and not-so-good journey.

Been single for so long now that I find being in a relationship with someone similar to learning a foreign language. (8 years single)

And before people scream incel I've had my fair share of one night stands and hook ups. Getting a girl to go on a date isn't terribly hard (there are obviously those that reject me). It's the commitment part that makes me lose all interest because the intimacy isn't worth the effort. It's like paying 100 $ for something worth 30 $ just a net loss

1). From a man’s perspective, or at least a healthy, mature, reasonably successful man’s perspective, marriage offers too little reward for the risk and effort and sacrifice it entails. No-fault divorce and feminism and the family court system has rigged the game against men. It’s simply not logical to play.

2). Understanding women’s behavior from an evolutionary perspective has more or less ruined them for me. I simply can’t respect women.

3.). LTRs are rarely worth the time and energy investment: All that time and effort would be better spent investing in myself. Occasional hookups are easily had and offer freshness and variety without the drudgery and burden and expense.
