19 is a great time to start. You're around the age a lot of men end up making poor decisions and tying themselves down. You're also at the age where life opens up to you. You can go anywhere, follow any passions, travel the world or build an empire, or just sleep all day.

A large number of older folk in MGTOW say you need "experience" because it took them 20 years and $xxx,xxx to figure out that the game was rigged. It bothers them that you got to skip the whole ordeal and they didn't. To me, the point of MGTOW is to walk your own path, live a content and fulfilling life and define your own successes; you don't need to risk allegations, stds and children to 'earn your stripes'.

In my opinion, being smart enough to recognize a shit situation without experiencing it firsthand is better than learning through a negative experience. For example, if you need to get in a car accident before you learn to wear a seat-belt, you're a fucking dummy. If you've never been in a crash but have seen car accidents before, then you choose to wear a seat-belt, that's a smart fucking move.

You don't need to have X number of car accident experience to be a "True seat-belt wearer". You don't need to spend X years in the dating game to be a MGTOW. Stop listening to all these other clowns who are adding requirements, parameters and ancillary bullshit on being MGTOW. You decide what MGTOW is to you and you decide how to implement that.

49 yo here. Never been married and/or move a camel into my tent so no restart required. $500K in assets so can leanFIRE any time I feel like into a LCOL area. I'm 18 man. Parents happily married and had a great childhood. I've always been a pit Red pill from a young age tho. Never liked the idea of relationships. Don't like the way my brain gets when I'm in them, I spend time in them which could be spent making money/improving myself. I spend money which could be saved for a rainy day. I probably will end up making bad decisions which will cost me more money. At our age tho most girls aren't looking to "settle down" and have kids. Give them a few years tho. Lots of people say get out there and have some fun but lots of risk for what I see as little reward. If you want to have some fun now is the time^ To each their own.

Maybe the awareness of red pill might suffice at the moment. But if you continue to see that you want MGTOW, then apply it to yourself.

I'm a MGTOW without any bad experiences with women. No marriage and no children, with a couple of LTRs. But I've observed the outcomes of bad marriages, and I've learned from that.

I think that if you really want to get married and have children, then more power to you! As long as you're making an informed decision, and aware of the costs and benefits.

There are people who have been married a long time and are happy, no doubt about it. But I think people are less prepared nowadays to put in the effort to sustain a long marriage. And there is no doubt about it: divorce, although no picnic for the woman, can be devastating for the man. MGTOW is freedom from the idea that the course of a man's life is towards marriage and having children.

I myself decided to go my own way at 18. The only reason I don't suggest it to people that young is that if you've never had a girlfriend, you may think you're missing something when you're older. You know what you had, didn't care for it, and know what you want. Be happy.

You're too young for MGTOW. Go out, experience life but cover your ass. The risks if burnt are high as is the likelihood and you want to minimise the extent of the injury which is when you will be ready to go your own way. For the moment, it is all academic for you and the hormones are raging. Not that they ever stop but experience helps make a man of you. Or a loser.

Trust me 19 isn't early. Wish I was as smart as you and started as young as you. Btw, get into investing as early as you can. Read "Rich Dad Poor Dad" & " Millionaire Next Door." Good luck. Btw, whether you want to settle or not is completely up to you, MGTOW is a philosophical frame of view on current social dynamics and if you want to do anything with it. Don't over complicate it and you'll be fine. cheers.
