In the same boat. She handed me papers in Late January. It’s been surreal. I am the one not wanting the divorce so my view is skewed, but even at this point in time, I can’t help but think this is a horrible idea from a financial and health perspective.

I really feel for all of you guys that are going through this right now. You absolutely need to be focusing on doing things, working on yourself and your future, during this time. I would strongly encourage you to not let her see you just sitting for hours watching Youtube or Netflix. That you set up a schedule and are working out (bodyweight exercises, for example), that you are putting a plan in place that will help you during this time and when we get out of quarantine. Read books that help you process what you are going through, listen to audiobooks, work on plans to increase your income. Things that are actionable by yourself that will set you on a good path going forward. Hang in there.

I'm in the same boat with my STBXW, still living together but now forced to be in the house almost 24/7 besides taking walks. 14 months into the divorce with the expectation it could be another 12 months. FML.

Same here even as I type this. And I had that old saying go through my mind this morning and I’m pretty sure if she was the last one on earth I’d take the northern hemisphere and tell her to fuck off.

Good grief .. was just sitting on toilet browsing here kinda bored. She was the one who needed out of the marriage (I wasn't about to beg her to stay) and she still thinks she can control me. tells me to get off the phone in the toilet and do something productive. I'm like uh... If someone needs to use it just let me know. Says I'm a. Adult an need to be productive and not be juvenile etc .. I'm still paying the damn bills for everything until we finish our mediation and file. Even says she's gonna a call my mother (still haven't told them of divorce). I said how exactly do you think that conversation is going to go? Oh she will tell you to be an adult etc and wonder how she raised you. I said she will wonder what kind of piece of work her daughter in law is calling her up like that. Smdh.. the nerve man. Actually calls me juvenile in same breath as threatening to call my mom... I actually felt bad the other day because I called her a cunt a little too loud and daughter prob heard. Was nagging me about cleaning up something while I was supposed to be working which was one thing. I was going to humbly take a minute to fix my bad.. but then nagging me about right way of doing it.

Yeah I'm gonna be relieved to get the heck out. As much as I tried to make it work I was so relieved when she said she needed out. Like hell anyone is going to ever again tell me I can't browse my phone on the toilet in the house I pay for everything
