Are you talking about telling him you are seeing someone, or introducing them? For telling him, I wouldn't give him details he doesn't need, but you can tell him that you are dating. For introducing them, I personally wouldn't until 6 months, but 1 month is definitely too soon to know if the relationship has a future. At 1 month you have two major issues, first is that you just haven't spent enough time with the other woman yet to really know her. She's probably still giving you a redacted version of herself, and you are probably doing the same with her. You also are still seeing things with rose tinted glasses, so if there are issues with her or the relationship, you aren't seeing them yet and the same goes for her. This is why so many relationships end between 1 and 6 months, at some point in that window both people stop seeing things how they hope they are and start seeing how things actually are.

All of my previous relationships either dissolved after a week or so, or they went for several years. I think that's why I thought waiting for one month was enough.

These are all correct. Also if it’s feasible introduce your ex to your gf first. This out of respect for her and because this new person will be spending a lot of time around your kiddo.
