Have the house valued before the mediation instead of having to speculate about market value. And cash is king. Don’t give away your investments or retirement to keep a house.
Just remember the mediator won't tell the judge where you guys ended up unless there is an agreement. Don't be afraid to say no if you don't agree with something.
