Some of the points, I do agree with (such as, they have the right to expect not to be photographed in the gym, and shouldn't have to go to a 'female only gym'), but yeah. A good portion of women these days have been raised to be deathly afraid of all men.

It's like a thing I saw on FB the other day; my reasonably intelligent, fairly open-minded aunt, put up a thing about how she's never been scared sitting in a room with women, LGBT folks, or POCS, but she's been scared sitting in a room with middle aged white males before.

When I pointed out that I've never been afraid to sit in a room with anyone that I wasn't given adequate reason to be afraid of, she said that wasn't the point of her post. I asked what the point was, and she said it was to showcase how people are afraid of sitting with LGBT folks. Which made zero sense.

My ex waa granted a restraining order against as if if I was threatening only because I wanted the chance to confront her about her false accusations towarda me that she made in order to push me out of the way and get sympathy from people when she also chose to have an illicit affair and break my heart and run off with the p.o.s. and ghost me. I waz the victim and I wanted answered but apparently that makes me dangerous even though I never threatened her. They ran the court case without allowing me to be represented in court and just took her crocodile tears as proof of her claims. It hurts me to this very day and has prevented me from trusting being in love ever again.

No, it's stupid to be afraid of someone because of their gender, but I am wary of strangers in the street. I'd say its good to be wary no matter who you are. You never want the worst case scenario to happen to you. That includes anything from assault to rape to false accusations. Speaking of the last two, I blame this on cultural influences. Teaching just about everyone to be reckless when it comes to sex. It shouldn't be that way, but that's why we are here now talking about this.
