God you can just smell gold digger off her

Lawyer "what's yours is yours, what's his is his"

Her "after talking to the lawyer he said it's pretty one sided"

โ€œI donโ€™t see why you canโ€™t just trust me!โ€ Famous last words , fuck that , Iโ€™d double down and dump her then and there.

...yeahhhh, so, while we're at this lovely LaQunita Inn, the locksmith is changing the locks. Welcome to your new home. By the way, you start in Housekeeping tomorrow, 8am.

One sided cause she is onky bringing tits to the marriage and he is bring an entire business.

So pungent. I was cringing the whole time watching it. Why did I watch the whole thing?

[โ€“]Fickle-Opinion-3114 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Pungent,sticky, musky.

[โ€“]irideapaleh0rse 134 points135 points136 points 5 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

I just donโ€™t understand why you wonโ€™t just blindly give me half your company you built. Honestly if either one owns a business a prenup should be standard at this point.

[โ€“][deleted] 93 points94 points95 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Lmao she acts like she's being cheated out of HER MONEY. Lmaoo

[โ€“]goboks 67 points68 points69 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

My fav was when she said "get out of my space."

When she started taking that โ€œI contributed tooโ€ (as an employee) my eyebrows were raised. ๐Ÿ‘€

Apparently the dude had the same reaction.

[โ€“]Medickev 35 points36 points37 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Immediately I knew that that would be her line if she decided to divorce him. โ€œI contributed to the business tooโ€. No, you didnโ€™t. He built it before he met you.

[โ€“]Ayrab4Trump 33 points34 points35 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is reason enough not to wife her.

That and she has shown to be emotionally fickle like the wind and can turn on him on a dime

[โ€“]MGTOWayoflife 30 points31 points32 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Translation: "I like piccccctured taking all of your money, your house and possessions when I get bored of our marriage and divorce you".

This video shows just how stupid guys can be when trying to get laid. Logical rationale thinking should have resulted in him breaking it off there and then. She is saying nothing that makes sense at all to get him to cancel the pre-nup and enter into a contract that screws him over completely.

[โ€“]Iamlegend_future 24 points25 points26 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

This may sound weird but something i used to do back when I dated was masturbate before any date or party. The reasoning was simple. Post nut clarity is amazing. Can't get pulled into that horny bad decision making head space if I've already busted my nut.

[โ€“]MGTOWayoflife 9 points10 points11 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Sir, I see why you have the word legend in your name.

[โ€“]Top-Unit-233 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yup! I would do the same. Funny thing, it helped me get laid because I wasnโ€™t eager for that beaver.

[โ€“]HyperPunch 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Wait, this isnโ€™t a normal thing? I did this as well.

[โ€“]cantamangetsomesleep 9 points10 points11 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

She only cared about how it would end, with half of his net worth in her bank account

[โ€“]ReasonReader 32 points33 points34 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Best advice I ever got from a mentor when I was starting my career: whenever anyone makes an issue of you trusting them, don't trust them.

[โ€“]1timemofo1 points 5 years ago [recovered] (6 children) | Copy Link

My ex refused to sign a pre nup. So i traded her in. Its a big red flag and trust me they all do the tears thing when the topic comes up if they dont want to sign ( been there twice now, dumped them both over it shortly after)

A real woman that really loves you would sign willingly and happily because she would just want you not your assets.

Its a very easy test to see what they are really about :D

[โ€“]namezam 36 points37 points38 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

My brother went through two like that, you wouldnโ€™t believe the drama. At one point the first found the second on Facebook and warned her he would do that so she confronted him on. The 3rd girl, the one he actually married, spent about 5 seconds listening to him about the prenup and was like โ€œyea yea whatever, Iโ€™m goodโ€ and now she shares the millions, drives the Benz, wears the Gucci and the other two still have nothing. Blows my mind.

[โ€“]Ayrab4Trump 9 points10 points11 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

been there twice now, dumped them both over it shortly after

Like a baus

[โ€“]yg111 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You dropped your crown king

[โ€“]Vomit_Tingles 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah it's literally just a form of legal protection because divorce laws are ridiculous. Nothing to get your feefees hurt about.

[โ€“]cyktic 21 points22 points23 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Stupid bitch. If she didnโ€™t care about the money then signing a prenup would mean nothing to her.

[โ€“]KalynnCampbell 18 points19 points20 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Now she is going to make the Disney face. Her lip is gonna quiver and her eyelids will flutter, but they won't ever actually close. But DO NOT feel sorry for her. She stole a year of our lives, and we're right to be pissed.

[โ€“]Trouvette 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

SHE IS THE ARK OF THE COVENANT

[โ€“]Murse89 18 points19 points20 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Fuck women like this and fuck this woman in particular. She thinks just because she lets him fuck her she is entitled to half of his net worth. That and she is gaslighting him trying to get him to back down from it. Her little crocodile tears are the same tactic every woman like her uses. The level of entitlement of this woman would be such a turn off for me; this should be his wake up call, run bro run!

[โ€“]PeopleRtheproblem 16 points17 points18 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

If you're not thanking about leaving then agreeing to the prenup is no big deal

[โ€“]Re-toast 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's what I don't get about these hoes. If they're in it for the money then just marry him and stay with him then he'll still be spending all that money on her. Is it that they want power too?

[โ€“]53withtrollhair5 points 5 years ago [recovered] (8 children) | Copy Link

Manipulation. Ask Jeff Bezos how things turned out, or Paul McCartney, or better yet, ask Tom Leykis. He'll tell you.

[โ€“]1timemofo1 points 5 years ago [recovered] (5 children) | Copy Link

Bezoz is very different, she genuinely helped build that company with him from the very early days. He did the right thing paying her out the way she did and both were pretty adult about him wandering off with another woman IMHO

[โ€“]Apollo114892 22 points23 points24 points 5 years ago* (3 children) | Copy Link

She worked very little at the beginning of the company. Its not comparable to how much he worked. Its just highway robbery

[โ€“]Mr-McTruck 7 points8 points9 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

How do you know this?

[โ€“]khaitto 13 points14 points15 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Spoiler alert: he doesnโ€™t

[โ€“]fartsforpresident 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If she were that integral to the business from the beginning, she would have already owned significant stock in the company in her own name. The fact that she didn't illustrates that she wasn't a crucial part of the business venture, nor was she a founder.

In reality she did accounting work for Amazon, which she was presumably compensated fairly for, but that's a long way off of tens of billions worth of contribution.

Ultimately though, who cares. Bezos is still one the richest people on the planet and couldn't spend his wealth in his own lifetime so I don't worry about what he lost in the divorce.

[โ€“]goboks 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If you work at a startup, you get equity. She would theoretically already own a commensurate amount of Amazon for that work.

You can argue that she should've gotten more or whatever, but it's incorrect to assume her labor was rolled into his equity.

[โ€“]Smacky_Da_FrogIm owed back jack wages bitch 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Or Johnny Carson.

[โ€“]SpicyBlueEagle 23 points24 points25 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Run, don't walk, as far away from that as you can!

[โ€“]heretolose11 11 points12 points13 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Ugh, Iโ€™m a female and other women like this make me sick. Just sign the goddamn prenup. Stop pretending itโ€™s about having your feelings hurt. Stop using fake tears to manipulate him. If money and wealth is such a motivation for you, educate yourself and get a career or build an empire like he had to. Women like this make us all look bad. ๐Ÿ˜ก

[โ€“]vanvoodoo82 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

so youโ€™re saying showing your ass for rent on the gram is a poor strategy?

[โ€“]heretolose11 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Look, I prefer more traditional methods, you know like education and a good career but whatever pays the bills I guess :)

[โ€“]Necessarycontroversy 17 points18 points19 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ngl, that was really entertaining.

[โ€“]d_nijmegen 22 points23 points24 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

If she's willing to break up over it. I believe her emotions.

He still needs a prenup to continue though.

[โ€“]welpacc 6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Fake threat I think. Sheโ€™s just bluffing assuming the guy will cave in to her emotions and not do a prenup.

[โ€“]d_nijmegen 6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's why I said. If she's willing, he absolutely needs to test it out. Call her bluff.

[โ€“]GeorgeWendt1 7 points8 points9 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

If you are dating a successful person (man or woman), you should expect them to protect their success. Also, I'm not a lawyer but don't prenups dissolve after ten years?

[โ€“]jfb3 18 points19 points20 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

...don't prenups dissolve after ten years?

Only if they're written that way.

[โ€“]MassiveNutInButt 33 points34 points35 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

She ugly. Why even marry her in the first place?

[โ€“]emid04 16 points17 points18 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I was thinking that as well lol how can you be a multimillionaire and marry this ugly, dumb girl that can't make a whole sentence without saying like at least 10 times. She should be thanking her lucky stars that she will be getting the opportunity to live off him at all. No multimillionaire woman would marry a minimum wage man, so she can thank the pussypass for that

[โ€“]Writer_B 6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I can't prove it, but based on the fact that a Prenup was already on his mind, this CAN'T be the first time he brought this up to her. If I had to guess he did and she blew it off and now they're getting married things got real. I get how people don't wanna go into a marriage expecting failure but he worked hard at that! He has every right to want to protect what HE built.

[โ€“]craniumbash 6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

At 0:44 the dog kills it in response to her question๐Ÿ˜‚.

The look is pure gold, "really b*tch?" moment.

[โ€“]BlackFedoraMedia 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So women can have a secret bank account for just in case, but a prenup is a break of trust. By the way, I saw a story where a prenup saved a women from a wealthy family from a gold digger guy. They help ladies too.

[โ€“]ReasonReader 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Run, Forest, RUN!

[โ€“]DanJoeli 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Heck. I'll sign that prenup, homie!

[โ€“][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"I didn't even think about that"

Maybe she should. Relationships don't last forever. Women initiate divorce more than men do.

[โ€“]Pawnnshop99 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What leverage does she even have, I donโ€™t get it? I mean maybe itโ€™s that sheโ€™s just not my type but is she that attractive? This decent looking millionaire couldnโ€™t do better, easily?

[โ€“]lettherebemorelight 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is where real feminism is needed. Securing your own economic independence is a way better strategy than finding someone to be a parasite on.

[โ€“]Illmatic-stillmatic 8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Stand strong king.

[โ€“]CantStopMe888 24 points25 points26 points 5 years ago (28 children) | Copy Link

you shouldn't need a prenup because YOU SHOULDN'T GET MARRIED

as a guy marriage is nothing but 100% liability with 0% reward

[โ€“]supfellasimback 13 points14 points15 points 5 years ago (27 children) | Copy Link

I disagree. If you love someone enough and want a life with them, marriage is something you should consider. Iโ€™m not in a relationship currently but marriage is definitely a goal of mine.

That being said, if Iโ€™m successful and my fiancรฉe is not, I would absolutely make her sign a prenup because no matter how good the person seems it might all be a faรงade just to get a piece of the pie.

[โ€“]MGTOWayoflife 9 points10 points11 points 5 years ago (23 children) | Copy Link

How does putting a ring on it and saying I do make a relationship any better in your mind?

[โ€“]xdzgor 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

In some places, a "relationship" which lasts a certain amount of time is considered the same as "marriage" in respect of things like responsibilities and assets if the relationship ends. In that case an official marriage and pre-nup can be a good idea.

[โ€“]d_nijmegen 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

It doesn't make the relationship better. It's more of a hopeless romantic thing. That's why you need a prenup. Because it wouldn't be worth it otherwise

Edit to add.

I'm married, we got together as broke students. Everything we have we built up together, paid for it together, worked for our fair share.

In this situation, marriage actually works fine. At least in my country and situation, so far. I'm willing to take the risk

[โ€“]flipstur[🍰] 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

In the US at least there are quite a few legal benefits to being married (for example being able to visit each other in the hospital). There are loads more but this one seems topical given the pandemic

[โ€“]9th-man 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Those benifits are in place to make people get married. ;)

[โ€“]flipstur[🍰] 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Some yes some no

[โ€“]thekeanu 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

for example being able to visit each other in the hospital

You should pick a better one than that lol wtf - not convincing at all.

I can visit my gf in hospital with no problems no contract.

[โ€“]flipstur[🍰] 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

In the US? No you canโ€™t haha

[โ€“]thekeanu 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ok. List them then.

I mean idk why you canโ€™t just google it... itโ€™s not like this is some big secret.

[โ€“]supfellasimback 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

For one thing, itโ€™s literally the next level. Youโ€™re agreeing to share your home, your wealth, and your name. Youโ€™re agreeing to be there for each other, for better or for worse, yadda yadda yadda. And you get a neat shiny ring to remind you all the time and non-verbally communicate to others that you are taken. And, if youโ€™re religious, you become bound in holy matrimony.

All of that sounds pretty good to me.

[โ€“]keropokemans 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Im literally living in this same situation without marriage.

Marriage is flexing on the irrelevant

[โ€“]supfellasimback -5 points-4 points-3 points 5 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Sounds to me like someone has a fear of commitment

[โ€“]emid04 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

No, he just told you he has that level of commitment without needing to get it golden showered by a government contract

[โ€“]supfellasimback 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Having that level of commitment would be getting married. Read between the lines, heโ€™s keeping his options open.

[โ€“]emid04 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Well, that's your one-dimensional way of perceiving relationships. Not feeling the need to have a validating government paper of your relationship is perfectly reasonable. To you, it may show a lack of commitment. To many others, marriage is meaningless.

[โ€“]supfellasimback 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Fine, donโ€™t get married. Iโ€™m religious and want to marry my life partner. Sue me.

[–]emid041 point 5 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

It's fine if you feel that way, I was only expanding on what I thought the other poster meant to tell you that his world is like. If you are enriched by the experience, I am glad for you

[–]keropokemans1 point 5 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I'm ok with that but it's scary that your beliefs drive you to don't understand that marriage is simply living together with extra steps

[โ€“]Joszanarky 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

he can still get married and cheat if that's what your implying

[โ€“]thekeanu -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You can't even accept that ppl can have commitment without the pointless contract.

You're a sucker - sign that shit and join the millions in divorce later.

Think about it: out of the 50%+ that have gotten married and then divorced, 100% of them thought they would be happily married "til death do us part".

[โ€“]MGTOWayoflife 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

When does Santa come to town?

[โ€“]goboks 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You should get a prenup regardless.

[โ€“]PM_ME_HIMALAYAN_CATS -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I would absolutely make her sign a prenup because no matter how good the person seems it might all be a faรงade just to get a piece of the pie

It ain't that easy

What they'll say is "oh so you don't believe that our marriage will last forever? And that I'm not a good enough person to not try to take what isn't mine from you?"

Up until that point, your intention was to marry this person, meaning, you really love them a whole lot. It isn't so easy to look a person you love in the eyes and say "I don't really have faith that this will last our whole lives, and I don't have faith that if we did break up, you won't try to fleece me for more than you're entitled to"

It can be pretty insulting to hear from someone you love that they don't trust you on TWO levels, both the marriage being successful, and the outcome of a potential divorce.

I came from a family of divorcees and am insanely marriage-averse, it has caused me to lose a couple of serious relationships. It can really suck when everything else is perfect, and one fundamental thing about each person is directly opposing. Religion tends to do that too

[โ€“]thekeanu 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You come from a family of divorcees.

You should know more than most that "til death do us part" is bullshit for the 50%+ who end up divorcing. Ppl change and fall out of love all the time.

It is that easy.

In fact, it's a great test to see if the other person has their eyes on your wallet more than they care about you.

Even if they pass the "test" the probability is still over 50% that the marriage will end in divorce.

Marriage was useful in olden times, but it's obsolete now.

If you're gonna marry a gold digger, you can do so much better than that hoe.

If he ends up marrying her with no prenup he deserves everything he gets. Sad thing is, even if he does end up getting a prenup, the fact that she's being a whiney bitch about the whole thing means a judge will probably just throw it out anyway.

โ€œIโ€™m not another contract that needs to be signedโ€

Does she realize that she has to sign the marriage license? Marriage is literally a contract

[โ€“]violentbydezign 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

On the contraire marriage is a business if one side fails to meet the needs of the other party then the contract becomes null and void.

I know at times I can sound blunt/heartless, but if that was my girl, this is how I would explain it to her:

"Think of this pre-nup as just an extension of our 'For richer or poorer' vows. Agree to sign and marry me, we get to continue to live in this house, and build a family together. If you don't sign, then, this is where our story ends." *and I motion to take the engagement ring away*

And if she says something like "But what about if I want to buy something?" I would say

"That's what having a job is for! Signing that paper, and living here with me, you will never have to pay for rent, utilities, food, health insurance, etc. All of that, isn't coming out of your bank account. You can continue working for me, or quit, and take all of this free time to start your own company. And you know what? All of that money that YOU make? Because of the pre-nup, is for YOU."

[โ€“]Re-toast 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Giving her a statement like that could cause your prenup to be thrown out even if she does sign it.

"If one person of the couple signs the prenuptial without a clear conscience or is under a stressful situation that pressures him or her to sign, the document may become invalid and thrown out of the court."

All it takes is one bullshit judge to buy her fake ass tears and you're fucked. The whole game is a fucking sham.

[โ€“]GyaradosDance 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Damn. You really have to tip-toe very gently around the topic! In this way, I'm glad lawyers are involved because I'm a very blunt person, and my words will be used against me.

I heard of one story about an NBA basketball player, who wanted to sign a prenup for his fiance. She said "Sure, I'll sign it later". She said that multiple times, up until the wedding day! She started bawling her eyes out, and said she would sign. Mr.NBA, knew about the "under stressful situation" thing you were talking about, and he called off the wedding, and just turned the reception into a big ass break-up party! LOL

Too many women just want an extra long free ride.

[โ€“]HiramNinja 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

...my two cents, the whole pre-nup talk needs to happen before you start cohabitating.

and let us all take a lesson from former NBA star Stephen Jackson.

People change in a marriage, prenups sound like a great idea when marrying.

[+]lucia-pacciola -6 points-5 points-4 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I'm not sure if you're doing this because you don't trust me, or you're not sure about our future...

To be honest, I think there's a valid point to be made here. If you don't yet know the person well enough to know that you trust them and have some certainty about the future, then you probably don't yet know them well enough to be thinking of marriage.

Prenups have their place, sure. Marriages of convenience where both parties understand it's partly transactional and they're negotiating a good deal for themselves in good faith? Prenups are great.

Marriages based on romantic love? Well, if you're thinking about a prenup, you ain't getting one of those.

[โ€“]OkruszekWKlawiaturze 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Or you were kicked one too many times?

[โ€“]Trouvette 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

When you have significant assets, you go into a relationship knowing you have to have a prenup, no matter who that person is. If I were explaining it to my partner, that is something I would make very clear. That it could be any person on earth and I would still expect that prenup. Heโ€™s doing it to protect his business. Heโ€™s not just thinking about himself in that regard. Heโ€™s also thinking about all his clients and employees who may be adversely affected by their relationship problems.

[โ€“]vanvoodoo82 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

gimme a goddamn break. how immature are you? we may be in love now but theres no guarantees about the future thats why we buy insurance for everything thatโ€™s valuable. homes, cars, health. a prenup is insurance in marriage

[โ€“]BreakerSoultaker 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

He def needs a pre-nup, she isnโ€™t that hot.

[โ€“]MyDog_BrokeHisLeg 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

honestly i think prenups are mandatory for me, people wanna make out like itโ€™s a trust thing, but there can be no trust without stability, and if thatโ€™s what is required for stability in someoneโ€™s life, then thatโ€™s that
