I don't think we're against admitting that men do bad things sometimes.

But when we're constantly told by society that men are uniquely evil, and women do no wrong, and that doesn't line up with our lived experiences (or just the basic facts that exist), then someone needs to say something.

Think of it like skeptics tackling urban legends. At a certain point there are people who care about facts and will point them out for no other reason than factual correctness.

This sub enforces little to no censorship. You will always find sour people at the bottom unless you want full femimist like censorship for circle jerks and echo chamber.

"Women" is not synonymous with "Feminism". You'll find a lot of hostility towards feminism because it actively entrenches disparities in legal rights and has some pretty awful implications when you examine what needs to be true for its central thesis (Patriarchy) to be valid.

I agree with what you said but at the same time women also shit on men all the time because of their past experiences, yet no one bothers complaining about them? I'm not saying you're wrong, but it's very hypocritical considering feminists have entire movements that shit on men.

Male victims of Domestic Violence are treated as perpetrators... and if there's no better example of this, I give you Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. He has recordings of her admitting to being the abuser, and he's STILL treated like the abuser instead of her.

If you don't feel like that's a men's rights issue, I recommend you go back to your man hating safe space.

I haven't personally seen that, i see a lot of posts about women getting what the deserve, and posts about women treating men badly, and righteous acts of justice that sometimes happens. If you could link the sour misogyny, we can all deal with it.

This sub has the correct mindset on female and male social dynamics, because we understand that men and women are different, and with that comes with different strengths, weaknesses, and privileges. There are some men who are spiteful, whom im sure we would all listen to and try to help.

However, misogyny is not supported by this sub and its members. If there IS misogyny, eg hate speech, then it should be dealt with. I've noticed this community does not tolerate sexism.

Agree with you for the most part. A lot of the issues/news articles posted here bring up the imbalance in favour of women. Its important to have discussion around those issues. I also think Depp Heard case is important because a lot of men are victims of domestic abuse and this is a fight to bring this to mainstream attention, which has succeeded in a way. Almost every forum you visit is aware that Heard was the abuser but is being celebrated while Depp, guilty or not, has been canceled. This is what male victims of domestic violence have to deal with.

Something I do not like seeing here is people going to subreddits like TwoX, feminism, fds etc. to dig up man-hating posts and link them here. Like, there are always going to be such people but this ain't the forum to vent about them. I'd rather we remain focused on the bigger picture like infant circumcision, male abuse, paternity fraud, false accusations etc.

Well devide et impera. This is done constantly over the years and it takes effect now. Woman vs men, white vs black, homo vs hetero, rich vs poor I could continue endlessly. Of course this will end with growing hatred on both sides. The constant overdrive in media since the covid pandemic and the general bad mental stability in these days accellerates this even more.

I don't blame anyone who gets upset about this, but as long as we continue to play this game it will get worse.

We share our experiences b/c a lot of women tend to (not all) treat men like sh**.
We point out characteristics of those 'women' so those men can AVOID those 'women'.
Maybe the mods can create a MensRightsExperiences sub.

Feminist and MRA subreddits tend to get this way. Or political subreddits for that matter.

The goals tend to take a back seat to proving that your side is right and their side is wrong. It gets to the point that people will downplay bad actions if their side is doing them even when they would normally be against that type of behaviour.

Watching people on this subreddit attack AOC for saying she was sexually assaulted really highlights the hypocrisy. I don't think anyone here would attack a male saying he was assaulted and accuse them of lying. But a woman says she was a victim and its open season. I wish there was a more constructive place for helping men that had less anger. As some of the posts here are amazing. Theres just a lot of anger and pain that is directed towards women too.
