Google have actually created a doodle for IWD since 2005, as they should. It is important to celebrate the contributions and listen to the array of women's issues from around the globe.

It is a complete failing of Google and so many others not to acknowledge the natural counterpart to IWD, that being IMD.

TL,DR; Could men successfully boycott Google?

Google represents it's feelings towards men plainly. There's a hell of a lot more than just the lack of the international men's day Google Doodle.

Any male YouTube (which is owned by Google) creator that dares to upload an unflattering commentary about woman is treated with demonetization, and channel suspension or shutdown. The men can't even say the words, feminism, rape, abuse, sexual assault, etc. Some creators have taken to saying these forbidden words backwards in order to try an avoid YouTube's heavy handed and completely lopsided policies. At the same time women enjoy almost complete freedom to do and say whatever they desire on Google's video platform.

I realize, I'm somewhat rambling at this point. However, I need to mention that men the world over united and drove the point home when Gillette treated us this way, one time. ONE TIME!!! So I know that we have the power to make our voices heard.

So men I ask you, is Google the abusive crazy girlfriend that we can't leave for some reason? Or can we grab our collective sacks and kick this bitch out of our lives?

This coming year I'm going to put my money where my mouth is and start by buying my first iPhone.

It’s great to document this, but let’s not waste too much time asking Google to change.

They are genuinely evil and this is just one reason of many why you should DeGoogle.

That means you delete chrome and as many Google apps as possible, switch search engines and don’t buy any of their products. Avoid Android too if possible (e.g. when buying a TV).

I don't care that much about a day a year since next day it's forgotten....i feel men beeing aware about the problems we might face ,"the swords at our throats" figuratively speaking would be infinity better. Even better to actively seek solutions as a community together. I feel like the older generation of men has a lot of things to tech us and they have been trough a lot. If anything I'd think listening to them and bringing their stories in spotlight would be much more usefull for the actual and future generations of men.

Isn't the fact that you generally can't name prominent historical female figures exactly the point though? You wouldn't need to raise awareness about it if their historical significance wasn't erased.
