My boyfriend's 27 and I just turned 23 a couple months ago.

I work at a fortune 500 company (for about 1 1/2 years now) making $45,000 annually. I'll be getting a decent bonus next month and hopefully a raise in the spring, so I should be making more than that soon. My boyfriend is still in school, trying to finish a bachelor's in computer science. Not a master's or a PhD, just a B.S. He went to two different tech schools, transferred to my alma mater, dropped out, and through many financial gifts from me, is now back in school.

We live together. I pay the rent, the utilities, and any other stuff that crops up. I cook dinner most nights (order out maybe once every two weeks), and I do 90% of the cleaning. He'll do dishes sometimes, but I have to rewash them. And whenever he does the kitty litter I have to sweep up.

Yesterday, I found 6 empty liters of Vodka in his desk. I don't think he's studying as much as he says he does. I think he's on reddit and getting drunk. He hasn't been doing well in school, and he had to drop a class.

I'm trying to be supportive and make him feel like he's a "man", but honestly he kind of sucks. He doesn't make any money, he doesn't contribute jack-shit, meanwhile I work between 40-60 hours a week and then I have to come home and cook and clean. I'm the man and the woman and I have this bum of a roommate that lives rent free.

So you guys are apparently into stereotypical gender roles. Should I just quit my job and make him figure it out and be a stay at home wife type? It'd be a nice vacation, sitting on my ass all day (it's not like it takes that long to clean the place and cook dinner- maybe 5 hours total). I'm in between that and kicking him out.

What do you guys think?
