I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask this. I've been around TRP for a while. On the one hand, I know I shouldn't care, right? But I am curious and I think it's one of those questions a lot of guys are wondering about.

I, a man, have very frequently been described as "cute" and it seems to be more a compliment to my appearance than to my actions. (In the past, friends of friends --or my sister-- rumored that girls called me "cute" at their slumber parties or whatever, or sometimes girls call me "cute" when I haven't even communicated with them at all).

My initial reaction was that this is positive, because it means she's into me. Especially since going the RP route, I thought, "oh, I must be doing something right" and yet in the back of my mind, I feel like women don't use "cute" to describe a man they are sexually attracted to. Men, of course, very often use "cute" to mean sexually attractive.

So, I'm curious, what's the dynamic here? Is "cute" a sexually charged adjective. If you say, "he's cute" does it mean you'd bed him? I want to know how to read this, to know whether or not I should work to "game" the girls in question, or change something about what I'm doing. I mean, if getting called cute hints that she's DTF, well then I'd better make the next move in the dance. If being called "cute" is exclusive of being "sexy"-- well then there's still work to do...

I felt like asking here would be better because I'd get much more honest responses than /r/askwomen and more relevant responses than /r/asktrp.
