More likely they will arrest the nearest man. The VAWA requires the police to arrest male victims of female violence (Duluth Model), so all DV stats are totally whacked. Women get a free ride for most crimes most of the time.

So what can I say, most of the numbers are pure fiction.

If a man is raped by a woman, she can successfully claim that he raped her.

So go ahead and display your hatred of men by claiming that male victims of crimes don't count because you've been told that their assailants were men.

BTW, most of the deaths of black men are by way of other black men in the inner city, they kill more of their 'brothers' than the police (95% of the deaths are a result of inner city violence, not police violence). Please let us know what you think here.

First of all, I would not use prostitution as an example of a crime - it should not be, to my mind, as a result of basic liberal principles; and at any rate, most countries who criminalise prostitution criminalise both demand and supply, so by definition perpetration rates should be equal (sorry for the heterosexism that is meant to simplify only).

Men commit more crimes for pretty much the same reason men lead more companies - the range of abilities, level of drive, and intelligence is broader than for men than for women. This is a result of evolution, pure and simple, and reinforced by incentives: men have more to gain than women.

But much of this violence is also, misguided or not, on behalf of the family (ie. women and children) and society (including women). Put simply: the onus of carrying out and resolving conflicts has fallen on men.

There isnt 'a' reason for anything.

Social issues are complex and always have multiple factors at play.

For example the majority of the violent crime you are referring to is committed by low income individuals. There are more homeless and/or drug addicted men than women, the less rewarded you are by society the more likely you are to commit crime. The more desperate you are the more likely you are to commit crime.

I have lived and worked with recovering addicts. As a broad generalisation more men resorted to shop lifting or violent crime. More women resorted to prostitution. You can consider this difference down to testosterone levels, men taking more risks and also that women are more likely to be able to finance their habit through prostitution, the men tend to see it as a very last resort and not a particularly profitable one. When they did prostitute themselves it was mostly a one off scenario, not systematic. Basically both genders maximised their opportunity and had better income opportunity in different activities.

Tl;Dr : while testosterone levels may be a factor, it is inaccurate to portray male crimes as a consequence of them being male. Social factors are more important and when men occupy the lowest rungs of society they will inevitably commit more crime.

Well you see my friend, the secret ingredient is that women are much less likely to be successfully violent.

Women are predominantly killing more of their children then men are. Is there a reason for this? Is it due to upbringing or what?

It's almost like it has to do with the nature of the victim in relation to the perpetrator, rather than just the perpetrator.
