It’s a hold over from pre industrial times really.

One man can impregnate several women, which can revitalize a population if need be. One woman can only carry one (rarely more) child every 9 months, with a few months of recovery.

Therefore if 95% of a population was wiped out, it would be easier to repopulate with 1 man and 6 women than 1 woman and 6 men.

That’s a drastic example and would wreck havoc on the gene pool, but when you raise it by a factor of 100 or so, you can see the clear advantages.

It was always like that.

Women first, children the second and men the last.

One would think is children first, but is not.

In the recent Syrian war, number of civilian deaths.

Men killed - 181,540 ,

Children - 29,308

Women - 15,925

That’s just the tip of the iceberg. This lifespan gap is considered “natural” and if women don’t outlive men by enough, measures of gender inequality consider this unfair to women, even if they still outlive men.

Because society/women ( But also some other men) view men as expendable and less worthy. Men are also viewed as only financers/providers, if a man has a bad job or is broke he is considered "worthless" and does not deserve to date or have a woman. However if a woman is broke or poor that's fine and men are expected to give her a fair chance anyways ( Even if the man has to work himself to death).

As FDS views it: The woman stays at home all day relaxing, doing whatever she wants, maybe going to the club with friends. The man works 7-9 hours, on his way he buys her a gift of some sort. When he comes home he gives the woman the gift ( Because women are worth more then men so ofcourse the man owes her gifts for being with him). Afterwards the man has sex with her for an hour with his 7-8 inch dick ( Because spending less time is low effort and having a dick under 7 inches is pathetic). Afterwards he thanks her for having sex. ( Ik this whole part is not related to the post but I just realized the whole full idea now so posted that here 🤷)

Im pretty sure it came form when "women and children" meant civilians, not literally women and children but now people use it literally
