Your wife doesn't own you. Stand up for yourself. Tell her it's none of her business. If she's interested in calm, non aggressive debate on the issue she's welcome to present her side and listen to yours. Otherwise tell her your best option is to ignore the subject and let you spend your own time how you like. Don't let her control your every move.

My question is, please tell us more about your relationship with your wife. You are not allowed to visit this site. You are not allowed to debate. Does she discourage you from having any particular friends? What other restrictions does she place on you. Such limitations are signs of an abusive relationship. While it is all fine and well to accomodate her wishes, one must ask, what will she ask for next?

Also if she is into equality, what restrictions are you allowed to place on her behavior? Does she visit feminist web sites? Does she spend too much money? Is she willing to discuss your long term plans together? What about politics? Work?

I'll receive a lot of flak for this, but hear me out.

Your wife is one of the most important persons in your life. It's not worth losing her for internet points or strangers like us. So, what you can do is avoid this group for a while. Talk to your wife about the reason that she dislikes the sub. Discuss and convince. Sure, it'll take time. You can't expect someone to agree with you on everything overnight. But unless it's an abusive relationship, it should be salvaged. Don't fall for the "lawyer up, delete Facebook, hit the gym" bullshit.

Explain to her the conversations in the sub. Talk about the laws in your country and the civil society. And how men are at a disadvantage in most avenues. It'll be clear that at least now, a men's rights movement is absolutely necessary. Who knows, may be your wife might also end up visiting this sub.
