Complete drivel. It's literally common sense to not expose a child to Coronavirus! Why is she even arguing against it?! Why was this article even written?

[–]T-Breezy16 11 points12 points13 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I don't know why she didn't automatically just do it to begin with.

It's a safety issue. Put your ego away, lady

[–]hendrixski[S] 8 points9 points10 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes. If she had done so herself outside of the courts then there wouldn't be any need for a court order that strips away her custody.

Now he has the power, and I hope he uses it to make a small positive change in national custody statistics.

[–]andejoh 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

King Solomon would have probably thought he deserves the child because she would rather put the child in danger than give him up.

[–]hendrixski[S] 26 points27 points28 points 6 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Because white women tears are magic.

[–]LogicIsGone80 4 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's the best answer!

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Not sure why you had to make it about white women and not just women in general. Wrong sub buddy

If it were a black woman would you be saying the same thing

[–]hendrixski[S] 3 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

It's intersectional 😜

White women have more privilege than other intersections.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

You lost? Intersectionality says men can basically go fuck themselves

[–]ShawshankRetention 3 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Intersectinnality is the agregation of advantages confered by different characteristic. The problem is that it is mainly used by sexist people already in power in academia that want to use it as a tool to prop up their own demographic or by politician driving a revanchist narrative for personnal gain.

I see no problem with someone claiming white women have the intersection of many advantages. If it was a black women, they would have been less likely to use her image and would just have stated her sex or have her by phone.

[–]thefudmaster 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Agreed. If I was a doctor, I’d tell my ex to watch the kids and I’d get my makeup time later.

Bet he still has to pay child support to her

[–]theeivog 7 points8 points9 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

they want that child support cut

[–]red_philosopher 8 points9 points10 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I agree with her statement that "if she were still married this never would have happened." That's a fair and reasonable assessment on the level of BS of the order that came down.

[–]RyansPutter 4 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The first sentence says she lost it temporarily. But stuff like this happens to men all the time and the news doesn't run articles about it.

[–]hendrixski[S] 3 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"Temporary" just means it can be overridden by new agreements between parents or by new orders from the judge without first having to cancel the past order. In reality they're permanent unless the other party can find a compelling reason for a judge to change the status quo (like abuse, drugs, or in this rare case infection danger).

If the dad doesn't want to, he doesn't have to give up full custody ever.

[–]antifeminist3 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Men lose custody for simply having a job. Women get custody because they didn't have a job...

[–]NoSaltAllPepperz 2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (23 children) | Copy Link

I support men’s rights but this has nothing to do with men’s rights. This just sounds like grumpy men complaining about non men issues.

I don’t support the judgement in this case because the same BS that was used against her can be used against men but most men can’t see pass the ‘getting even’ mentality. That mentality is the same mentality women use against at men. Act like men. Not women.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (22 children) | Copy Link

Yeah. That hasn't worked.

Time to beat them at their own game, with their own bull.

[–]NoSaltAllPepperz 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago* (21 children) | Copy Link

That’s your first mistake. You’re playing their game to get even. I rather do the what is righteous than mimic the actions of the person I complain about. I’m a man, not a woman. I hope you would and most men would do the same. Depriving a child from one of its parents is wrong. You wouldn’t want a woman to do that to a man. So don’t do it to them. Do the righteous thing.

[+]Mackowatosc2 points 6 years ago* [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

If the mommy is toxic, removing her is in child's best interest. And most are toxic, especially during divorce.

[–]NoSaltAllPepperz 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And what if the father is toxic? I don’t view either sex as toxic by default. I look at actions.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They're toxic when you remind them of your "pig of a father" or whatever insult they have at the time. It's like being raised by a fucking self absorbed child

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (17 children) | Copy Link

As someone raised by a feminist who to this day, 30 someodd years later, still treats her male children like crap and actively sabotages their future.

Children would be better off with single fathers than single mothers.

Now unless you have personal and relevant experience here, I think we're good.

[+]FaceAndKMS2 points 6 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

I can definitely second that children would be far better off with single fathers than single mothers.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Absolutely.

[–]ShawshankRetention 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Hi. Not realated to the subject but from a similar background. If you dont have any sister, make your mother understand that she will never have grandchildren and will likely have very solitary late days. That was radical for my mom's attitude.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Unfortunately i have two sisters who both live with her under the umbrella of her free financial assistance, one of which just had her first child at 21.

[–]ShawshankRetention 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Well it suck for you. Hope you got a good plan for yourself. If not, there are freelancers like Aaron Clareys that provide counsel.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Nah. I'm already married and on my own. My younger brothers could probably use that though

[–]NoSaltAllPepperz -1 points0 points1 point 6 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

You’re raised by a feminist makes more sense why you act like a woman. You blaming your mother to this day let’s me know you have resentment and can’t move on. I recommend forgiving her. I was raised by both parents. My father was a strong male figure in my life and understand that a balance of both parents is ideal for raising children. My parents split for awhile and the worst feeling as a child to be was in the middle like you hade to choose one or the other. It messed with a child big time. I know.

Like I said, i support men’s rights but this story isn’t about the man or about the woman but what’s best for the child. Well just have to disagree. You choose one over the other. I think both should be raise the child.

[+]Mackowatosc3 points 6 years ago* [recovered] (6 children) | Copy Link

I recommend forgiving her

utter debilism.

[–]NoSaltAllPepperz 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

You right. Hold onto resentment for the rest of your life. Don’t move on. Hold onto all that anger and hate you have. It would do you so much better than forgiving somebody and moving on.

[+]Mackowatosc0 points 6 years ago* [recovered] (4 children) | Copy Link

tbh, not forgiving does not mean harboring anger. Its more about perpetuating the consequences.

[–]NoSaltAllPepperz 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Forgiving had nothing to do with the other party. It’s for one self. The boy in this thread still carries anger and hate from what his mother did to him. That’s why he’s telling strangers to shove things up their ass for having a difference of opinion. And he’s still blaming his mom to this day instead of being a man and moving on. If you’re still blaming your mother for things after the age of 30, you’re not a man. That’s a boy.

I came to this reddit cuz I thought it was about men and rights but it sounds more like boys and feelings.

[+]Mackowatosc2 points 6 years ago* [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

you can move on yet keep said mom removed from your life as consequence - for good measure. Keeps her from fucking you over a second time.

Life experience is, if someone gets another chance, they will fuck you over due to not feeling consequences. Why bother? Plenty of fish out there.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

My opinion stands. You didn't experience it, you get no say.

So you can take that opinion and shove it way up inside where the sun don't shine kiddo.

[–]ShawshankRetention 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Dude. Keep it down with the masculinity shaming, you sound like a feminist.

[–]genericteenagename 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Men losing custody: totally okay! But if you subtract a penis, and add a vagina into the equation, well that’s just not okay!
