So I just saw a picture of a girl attended women’s march claiming “Keep your politics off my pussy”.
Then I couldn’t help but think “Then maybe, maybe you should take care of yourself, including your bill?”
They want to make pads, contraception, and even abortion free. I myself am a girl. I’m not against abortion. I just can’t call myself a feminist because the definition is very broad and even if you believe in equal rights, if you don’t agree with one thing that they support (let’s say you are a pro life feminist) you could be asked to leave because that’s not what the feminism is about, according to them. I don’t agree with a lot of things they say, such as “all men are shit” “futre is female” and so on.
I think when other people’s money is involved, we can’t keep politics out of their pussy. It seems not fair to me to say “Don’t tell me what to do but you pay for it.”
Maybe I’m just an idiot I don’t understand this. I want to know what others think whether or not you agree with me. Maybe you could change my perspectives.

My opinion is keep abortion legal, because women will do it anyway, but don't encourage it. It's weird how people will try to rationalize and justify it. People should be shamed if they use it as a form of birth control.

So that’s women’s privilege, perhaps?
I think both men and women are privileged just in different ways.

I think it depends on the culture.
I’m from Japan. (not living there currently) At work, women are supposed to prepare tea, told to wear makeup but not too heavily and not wearing makeup isn’t allowed either, must wear heals and so on.
I know a man who applied for an admin assistant job and men mocked him saying the job was for women, meaning men should be in higher position and do more important work. They were looking down on women but also at the same time, this man was received unfair treatment. That’s why I said we are privileged in different ways.
Oh and the family name. We can’t have different last names when married unless the partner is from another country. Generally, a woman take her husband’s sir name especially if she marries a first born son. It’s because women weren’t allowed to be heiresses before. the law has changed but the custom still remains.

I don’t think it’s men’s privilege to obtain a job. What I meant is for certain positions, gender does affect but we should be allowed to get a job as long as we are qualified and able to fulfill the duty.
I believe that those who can work should work regardless of the gender.
Sorry if it’s not clear enough.

Health care is such a fundamental need, and an individualistic free market approach makes it difficult for a lot of people to get adequate care. You can either pay insurance to a company looking to make a profit, that may or may not cover you properly, or everybody can group together and pay insurance (via taxation) and guarantee that you'll always be covered.

Oh yeah, I agree - in Northern Ireland the waiting lists are ridiculous, but that's largely down to our bizarre system of government (mandatory coalition; if you get a certain number of seats, you're entitled to a government post, leading to an essentially permanent 5 party coalition).
But even then, if I can afford it I can get private insurance and treatment anyway.
I've had a number of treatments on the NHS over the years, and have no complaints. My sister also has a bad eating disorder and has been in and out of hospitals over the last two decades. Private insurance would probably not cover that very well, and I'd imagine she'd be dead without universal healthcare. Either that, or my family would be bankrupt.
