I have tried to follow RPW since getting engaged, my husband and I have been married for 10mths now.

We rent, and there are a couple of things that need fixing (for example one of the kitchen drawers). When these things initially broke, I told my husband about them and he informed me that he'll sort it and not to worry.

After a couple of months, I mentioned it again (along the lines of 'grr, this drawer'). My husband wrote a list on our kitchen white board of jobs that he needed to do around the house, told me to add anything else to it if I think about it and he will sort it out.

This was about 4 months ago now. The kitchen drawer still isn't fixed and I'm not really sure how to handle it. Previous me would nag him, or simply sort it out myself.

I haven't brought it up again. I don't really want to just sort it out (I have done this in the past with him, near the beginning of our relationship, and he looked like he let me down - so I don't want to make him feel like that again!) And obviously I really don't want to nag him about it.

I'm trying to think back about Laura Doyle's advice - about saying something like "I need this drawer to be fixed", to give my husband something to make me happy about rather than out-right asking him to get it fixed, which I feel (and LD says) would be nagging. However, I feel that this might come across a bit passive aggressive, and I know how much my husband hates that.

And so, my fault - Not asking him outright fix the problem in the beginning.

Why did this problem manifest - not really sure... because I am still relatively new to this?!

I've already stated the steps I've taken.

It's been an issue for about 4-6mths.

Our bedroom life is fantastic! He actually told me recently that I make him feel really wanted and sexy (which gave me a massive ego boost!).

So - any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.
