The UK Law Commission is currently consulting on whether the current list of 'hate crimes' should be extended. There has been much discussion about whether this should include 'misogyny' - noticeably, though, zero discussion about 'misandry'. IMO, the current hate crime legislation is exceptionally poorly worded - it basically makes someone taking an offence into an actual offence - and I can't see any way in which this will not end up further penalising men. I'd urge all UK members to write to their MP and express their concerns ASAP.
