"Researchers have found that taking expansive body postures doesn’t just make people feel more entitled, it also makes them more likely to steal, cheat and fail to respect traffic laws."

Sooo, let me guess. This whole study was done by feminazis?

Maybe we should send them a few fake flaccid cocks so they can walk around with them strapped on for a week in hot, humid conditions.

"researchers"

[–]peepeeandpoopooman 4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

By "researchers" they mean feminists with an agenda who twist everything exactly how they want it.

I’m a woman. I don’t know what it’s like to hang between the legs. But it makes sense that if you have something down there, it’s going to need more room than someone who doesn’t. Are there guys who sit like slobs and take up a seating area made for more than one person? Sure. But women in skirts will do the same thing.

[–]That_Shy_Geek 16 points17 points18 points 7 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

That is fucked up and undeserving of a prize. It’s sorta sexist.

[–]filosophicalaardvark 13 points14 points15 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

100% sexist.

Ftfy

another girl raised in the hate stream of feminist education.

Like the US, their education has fallen well down...because this is the stupid idiocy they focus on.

perhaps I should focus on creating a full mouth gag for these women. It would serve society at a much greater capacity.

[–]PurpleAngel23[S] 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Sorta? This is complete discrimination. The woman who ‘invented’ this stupid ball trap should be embarrassed.

[–]That_Shy_Geek 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I said sorta. Trying to be a little polite. Her invention is sexist and stupid. It’s something undeserving of praise.

[–]PurpleAngel23[S] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It’s okay. You can call out the BS, lol. That was kind of you to be polite, though!

This might be better as a different post itself but, is there any action this sub, or the men's rights as a whole community can take against bullshit? Just like how feminism took action against disparity in the 70's. Like, something that actually forces people to look in our perspective for once, because they wouldn't bother to otherwise.

[–]UUUU__UUUU 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

is there any action this sub, or the men's rights as a whole community can take against bullshit?

Honestly, I don't want us to take any action. We should just let their antics and hatred play out in open for a very long time. Few days ago there was a post about a tee shirt with something like "throw rocks at boys".

Let's just watch. It's much easier to talk when these evidences are out there in open. Or may be just let them exhaust themselves with their hatred till it bores them. Any reaction from us is an opportunity for some drama that gives them excitement, sense of accomplishment, topics to write more articles for advertisement revenue, additional publicity and so on..

Let's just keep quiet.

There is currently a petition for anonymity unless charged for those accused of rape in the UK. It's at 25,000 signatures right now it needs 100k for it to be brought up in parliament. It was started by Cliff Richard who was falsely accused. It can be signed by anyone not just UK residents.

Perfect!

[–]PurpleAngel23[S] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

As far as this ‘invention’ goes, a little common sense would go a long way. I can’t believe people even supported her.

[–]understandablyno 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Dang well sadly common sense isn't really something you can take action on haha. Uk really does have a lot of messed up stuff going on by the sound of it. It's like you can their society slowly crumbling away

In recent years, feminists and women’s rights advocates have railed against the manspreading phenomenon. Women complain that manspreaders, especially on public transport, sit with their legs wide apart and take up more space than needed. According to feminists, what may appear to be an innocuous practice, is actually a problematic assertion of patriarchal power.

I HAVE to sit like that on busses/trains here because there isn't enough room between the seat I'm sitting on and the next seat infront of me to be able to sit normally. But of course they will never consider that something else might be the problem.

[–]PurpleAngel23[S] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Do you think that may have to do with...gee, I don’t know...something between your legs? Just a thought.

/s for the blind

[–]gazza1711 6 points7 points8 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Just a joke . How long are we men going to keep accepting these attacks before we wake up and find all our rights have gone

[–]Yoji_84 4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Can she design a nag gag next, please?

[–]PurpleAngel23[S] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I’d pay for that

[–]Criket 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm asking for someone do design a 'bag alone on seat' ejector.

[–]Ody_ssey 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I would rather stand during the whole time of travelling than sitting there. It is too uncomfortable. Take as many prize as she wants but when it comes to supply and demand, it is a failed product.

[–]PurpleAngel23[S] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It’s a ridiculous concept. Could you imagine if someone made a product that targeted women’s bust areas? Men are built differently than women. It’s time we accepted that as a society and moved on.

[–]Zekuro 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Okay, wait. Even if we agreed with all the other nonsense, all I can see is one chair that try to stop "manspreading" and one chair that promotes "womanspreading".

[–]__pulsar 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Women need to reclaim the public space that has been occupied by men for so long! It's so empowering! /s

[–]PurpleAngel23[S] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

O wonder if any gal out there is going to try that chair in a skirt with no underwear?

[–]peepeeandpoopooman 4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Yet she is sitting on a chair that looks like it's designed for sitting with your legs wide open?

IMO from my experiences on public transport, women putting their bags on seats preventing others from sitting down is a far worse problem than "manspreading".

[–]terjek 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

When I see a woman sitting with her handbag on the seat next to her, I tend to chose that place to sit. I'll just stand next to her and say "excuse me", until she moves the handbag. Maybe we do not have that many crazies here in Norway, because I have not yet met anyone who will make an argument over this. They all just move the bag.

It's not that I really believe that this will make her change her way, but it's a small "fuck you" to those women, and also a small "get a grip" to the men who are standing because they are afraid to stand up for their rights.

[–]PurpleAngel23[S] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I like to put my purse on the seat next to me in public, but I’ll remove it if it’s in the way or hindering someone from having a seat. I’m married, so I will use it to reserve a spot for my husband if he isn’t around, but on his way. However, I won’t do that if I’m at an event that doesn’t allow seat saving.

[–]xerotolerance879 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It pisses me off to know there are several hardworking and intelligent people out there who get paid very little and get hardly any recognition for their accomplishments, yet some feminist makes a chair that closes men’s legs and gets a national prize for it. This really is a clown world after all.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Feel so bad for that man

[–]Mackowatosc 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

so, lets design a chair that forces women to sit with their legs spread wide ?

[–]PurpleAngel23[S] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That doesn’t sound comfortable to me.
