The US women’s team scored more goals in one game than the men’s team has in every World Cup since 2006 combined.

Men are paid more, because more people watch their games.

They generate more revenue.

In fact, they generate so much revenue the salaries for the women are probably already paid for by the men.

It has nothing to do with sexism.

At least equally? But hold on-- are you suggesting it's ok for them to earn more for some reason? Well, gol-lee! I thought earning more for doing "the same work" was wrong? I thought it was unfair for that to happen. I mean, there's no good justification for that happening when it's men earning more, yes? So why should things be different the other way around?

"Equality" is like a one-way socket wrench, right? Crank it in one direction only to tighten that nut, but never untighten it.

Isn't this the same team that catastrophically lost to a bunch of 13-year-old boys during off-season practice? Let them beat a professional men's team before they complain about lower pay and less attention from fans (which is the real cause of the lower pay, btw).

Here's an idea:

Give half of that money to the Dallas FC U-15 who assisted in training the Women's Team to the level that they could beat Thailand 13-0.
