I texted a girl who I kind of led on to see what she was up to. She just responded with "bye". Should I treat this as a shit test or just apologize to her?

You should do whatever your feminine heart desires, and stop asking advice here. It's clear you aren't taking anyone's advice on board.

You shouldn't apologize for her feelings. You shouldn't be responding to her. You should be working to improve yourself and find better women, not getting thirsty and reaching out to a previous girl who has moved on.

There are certain instances where apologies are warrented. Like when you actually DID fuck up and you recognize your mistake. You don't owe this girl anything.

Deducing from your comments, you are not here to find what is the right thing to do, instead you are just trying to justify your hamster to apologize to this girl when there is no reason. Dude just, stop. There is no reason. It has been said on other comments too, be aware of your own hamster.

do not apologize wtf man. you don't owe her an apology at all. if she wanted a relationship but you were only interested in something casual, it's not your fault at all if it hurt her feelings. if anything, she should really be happy you didn't lead her on by implying the possibility of a relationship before pumping n dumping her.

just hit her up and say something about how you haven't seen her in a while then ask her if she wants to meet up and do <something fun>. if she starts acting bitchy or weird because you ignored her before, just play dumb.

warning though: if she was crushing on you and you either actively or passively rejected her, very good chance that she will be looking for an opportunity to reject you for her own self-esteem. and she might want to do it publicly or in front of friends or something like that. just something to keep in mind before you invest too much in this girl.

Your frame provokes a strong reaction ("Bye") and you suddenly feel a need to chase. NO.

Don't react.

I'll give you an even more stark example. Girl I was seeing and banging for 9 months...she chased and was constantly clingy...started acting up...dating my friends, shit testing like crazy...I didn't react. I slowly distanced myself and held frame.

Finally, she has a text melt-down, rants saying a variety of terrible things about me finally says "I'm out".

My reaction? Did I apologize? Did I buckle and say "Oh, come on I didn't mean all that..."?

No. I replied with "you sound butthurt ew".

She wrote "I'm out".

I responded simply with "k". She then went on with a massive rant calling me all sorts of names....I haven't spoken to her since--that was 2 months ago. She's stalked me, blocked me, unblocked me...wrote me a nasty note.

I've said and done absolutely nothing. I've moved on and started banging other plates.

Show some balls dude. Realize you have value and that if some girl is going to provoke you or whatever you move on. Let her chase you. If she comes back carry on like nothing happened. If she doesn't leave it.

Calibrate your game in future but it's always better to err on the side of asshole.
