She had a huge crush on me and was acting really clingy, however I failed to match her energy and acted a bit cold around her and I think it caused her to believe I was just leading her on. Now she's back around (spring break) so I texted her a simple "hey" and she was really quick to respond with "bye". Obviously she wants a reaction out of me, but I'm having trouble figuring out what kind of reaction I should give her. My instincts tell me to just send a simple apology, after all she'll know what I'm apologizing for and it'll show self-awareness. I'm pretty sure she's mad that I stopped giving her attention when she developed feelings for me. Not sure how to confront that or if I should even bring it up.
