SO I show this to a friend, his comment was "But, he is THE dad to those kids and while what she did was despicable, I don't think she owes him any money as he got to enjoy being a dad for all those years".

"So what if they found out the hospital had fucked up and gave them the wrong children if we use your logic they aren't owed any money because they have 3 beautiful children that they have enjoyed". The look on his face was priceless.

250k? Women get that much in child support just for 1 child. This couple had 3 children and he put a roof over her head for 21 years based on lies.
Even if they force her to pay 1 million, she prolly don't have the money or skills to make that kind of money.
He lost 21 years of his life that he will never get back.
He still paid her $4 million and has to keep paying her "maintenance."

I know we should be celebrating this as a mini victory but it's actually pretty insulting. Look at what she gained - a 4 million pound divorce settlement for a marriage based on lies..... Then, after some serious legal work, he's awarded just over 5% of that sum back and told that the father of the children can't even be named. This isn't any form of justice really - the remainder of his divorce settlement and ongoing maintenance will keep her and the children living comfortably for the rest of their lives.

Well, i think its likely that the law will allow her to track down the actual father(s) of these children and demand back payment of all child support owed.

After all, as a female, she is completely unable to be held responsible fir anything she does. Especially if it involves sex or reproduction.
