The flyer says there is a 15.7% discount despite them claiming a 14.7% pay difference (false.)
This is generally just a horrible thing to do.
This could be considered misleading, as no coffee sale exists, it is simply a cheap advertisement.
The gender pay gap has been disproved hundreds of times.

This crude propaganda is truly wearisome. Do you "take into consideration" that women at City might not be working in exactly the same way as the men working the same job?

You own a business and you employ a machinist with 20 years of experience but due to a large and sudden rush order, you need to hire a brand new machinist to help out. Do you have to pay them the same, even though they're "doing the same job"? Are the differences irrelevant?

I have seen a few coffee shops do that here (Brisbane QLD). They are officially dead to me.

the only reason the "wage gap" exists is because as a whole men work more than women. Men and women are still paid the same if they do the same work therefore they should both pay the same for products.

And it goes without saying if any company in the UK or US really did pay women less than men for the same work they would never get away with it.

If this was an actual office shop. then the women getting a discount wouldnt actually get a discount because it would only be women buying the coffee, therefore, paying regular prices.
