I was having this conversation with a girl once.

Well whenever i go i always have to raise it.

Well yeah, if i have to pee i also have to raise it, if it's raised and i have to take a shit i have to lower it too. I don't see a problem there.

Sorry no, adults don't act like children and break down because the previous person didn't do what you wanted them to. Know what I do when I find the seat down? I put it up, urinate, then move on with my life because like most dudes, I have actual stuff to do. I don't have hours during the weekday to concoct a 'clever' complaint note, print it, tape it up, etc. Fuck off.

The way she uses the phrase potty experience reminds me of this woman in our company that would say, "I'd like to be a big girl and do this all on my own but..." So after a few minutes of hearing this over and over again over the phone I used her phrase back at her. Shouldn't have but whatever. Next thing I know there is a formal complaint against me and one of the charges was "in sicsempertympanis' words I need to be a big girl and do this on my own" completely leaving out the context in which she was a bitch in a manner much like the air of the "potty experience" but also crucially leaving out the fact that I was repeating her words back to her.

Wonder if this is her? She was up in Portland.

Yeah, I've never understood this one personally. Growing up in a household of 5 males & 2 females, it was just common sense to put the toilet seat down if you wanted it down, rather than bitch at the males of the household to remember to do it.
