So women employees can earn a higher wage? At a cafe? I thought that both sexes get paid the same amount to serve customers, clean up tables and wash dishes.

If the owner is a female, her sex should have nothing to do with how successful the business is.

Stupid click bait stories. The fabric of society is breaking down more and more as the days go by.

I'm all for equality, but when it has to come at a cost to the opposite sex, it isn't equality, it's man hating. How about men get more rights around parenting when separated, raise the penalties for the same crimes committed by women as men, get them doing all the really labour intensive jobs etc etc.

Even if all of this happened, I'm pretty positive that they would become disappointed with the fruits of their labour. There will always be differences between us, because we have different strengths and weaknesses. It's ridiculous to even expect western women to even want families or men by their side anymore with all the "equality" they are fighting for.

The labour market doesn't mind this though, because the more working, the more money a country can earn.

Be careful what you wish for. You may get it one day and then realise that you've been conned by media and your government.

Equality is important but some logic never hurts when looking to compromise. Throwing a tantrum unless you get something exactly as you want it all the time isn't equality, it's bullying and psychological abuse.

Will the men get comfier seats and be allowed to leave whenever they want whereas the women have to stay longer than they would if they had a choice?

Will women who aren't planning on being single forever be forced to flip a coin and if it comes up tails, half their discount goes to the next man through the door?

Women who turn up without a male willing to go with them, will they be forced to pay the full amount? (see studies on wage gap for unpartnered persons.)

And so on, and so on.

No. because that would accurately represent things, and feminists aren't interested in that. They're only interested in taking the most narrow and self-serving view of the situation and trying to rig things even further in womens favor while presenting it as evidence their hate movement is needed.

Rather than actually educate people on gender dynamics by doing the above (And it would certainly shock most of the women, if they bothered to engage with the event at all rather than just threw a feminist temper tantrum), they'd rather just peddle a misinformative, biased, and gynocentric view of the situation, one that only takes into account womens wellbeing and experiences. It is only through female chauvinism and a total disregard for men that feminists would articulate this issue in the way they have done. That they articulate it this way is evidence their framework is not fit for purpose and of the kind of dysfunctional views of reality it promotes.

In reality if they wanted to do a stunt like this that represented reality, they should purposefully cater more to men and be cruel to women customers until they reach a point where women stop coming UNLESS you give them a discount.

7D Special measures intended to achieve equality

Yes, this is illegal under concepts propagated by feminism itself:

The differential treatment of male and female customers, however "voluntary", constitutes a hostile environment.
Priotity seating for females is similarly illegal discrimination.

Of course, the real reason for such nonsense is the failure of men to make the same fuss as women. Australian males have more balls than most, but apparently there are neither male patrons nor male attorneys with the balls or determination to use similarly inventive lawyering as feminists (hostile environment arguments, disparate treatment arguments, etc.) to put a stop to this misandrist nonsense (including the predicate falsehood of a pay gap).

The gender wage gap is the lie that will not die. Discrimination against women is no part of this earnings gap. Women are allowed to make choices that improve their lives at the expense of their income, like working fewer hours and retiring early, and do so.
