This is a barbaric practice that should not be praised or given a platform. It should be banned and fought everywhere, the same way forced female genital cutting is. So what it's apart of their culture? Then their culture is fucked up in that regard, as is every other one that normalizes forcibly mutilating boys' genitals (including the US). "Different cultures" is not a valid justification

Remember the HIV infected man (Eric Aniva) in Africa known as "The Hyena" who was paid to take the virginity of young girls and whose behavior was considered normal in that that culture? Was there anyone in the west defending that because "their culture" thought it was okay? Is there anyone in the West defending female circumcision because "other cultures" think it's okay?

there also isn't a condemnation in the video because it is basically a requirement in shitreligions like islam and judaism so opposing them would make you "bigoted" according to the mindless crowd.

I didn't watch the video but aren't they just documenting what the Indonesians believe? I don't think that's the opinion of vice itself, the entire video was a narrative style thing (basically a documentary lol)
