Yeah, don't do it. Get your degree, and go. This could very well end with you out of school. I get that you want to be actively participating in men's rights issues. However, there is a place and time for that. When you are spending tons on an education is not the time, nor the place. It is a risk I wouldn't take. But, you do you. That is simply my opinion

It depends entirely on how infested your college is with feminists and whether there is a particularly rabid contingent of them, even if they're small in number, if they're genuine nutcases they will try and protest you. Either way I would highly recommend potentially talking to a lawyer. The setting up of the group should be fairly straight forward if the administration staff aren't just as bad as the students but it won't hurt to be prepared for legal action if somebody tries to mess with you at your first event and so on.

That's really my main bit of advice, I also think if you think there's a chance of protesters or harassment you should record these events, this is all worst case scenario stuff though. It could be you manage to get everything going and nothing happens but given the state of colleges and universities now I'd be paranoid and prepare.

Aside from feminist protesters there really should be nothing much for you to worry about.

Get the backing from a Prof of Psychology with a good working knowledge of such issues as Sociopathy. You will need expert help to watch your back, see how the aberrant behaviours of the few will twist and turn and how systems, policies, practices, procedures, social conventions and more will be used twisted, manipulated and warped to go against you to destroy you.

Failing that, get the head of The Law Faculty to support you and watch your back.

I'd advise all members to speak and write very carefully, and have a unified response to questions that you know will get asked. Make sure everybody's on the same page, and putting forward a good image.

Considering colleges called the police for posters being put up with only the words "It's okay to be white" I'm pretty sure this is gonna end poorly. Colleges are only havens for free expression and discourse if you belong to one of the "oppressed" groups.

Good luck. If you run into resistance from women's or feminist groups on campus chances are they are going try to pull something along the lines of "our groups already support men so why don't you just join us?".

When that happens be ready to show them why their groups for all the good they might be doing (and be sure to acknowledge said good) that their groups are not the right fit for some men. Stress that men need their own spaces to do their own work. At that point they will either respect the need or they will backpedal and attack you showing they simply don't want men to have their own spaces outside of their purview.
