There was a great response to this comic when it was posted on TRP a long time back. It was edited so that one woman was saying those things to the other. Wish I could find it.

I agree with her that people are too judgmental about other people. As long as you aren't hurting anybody, why should anybody care what you do with your life.

On the other hand, they need to grow some thicker skin. So what if people say that about you? If people talking bad about you is the biggest problem you have your life is awesome.

Typically, whenever women say "society" they mean WOMEN. "Society calls women sluts" -> WOMEN call women sluts. "Society hates women who have a great marriage, kids, and a career" -> WOMEN are jealous as fuuuuck of those women who 'have it all' and invent crazy rationalizations to tear down these women. See for example any of these "sexy mom post pregnancy" pics like Maria Kang or that soccer wife. Guys think her story is fucking beautiful, guaranteed.

And yeah, it's fitting that when women say "society" they mean women. Because what else is society? Beta males and women clammoring for a bit of stability and security, at the cost of independence, freedom, etc.

tl;dr of some comment:

as a feminist mom i have two sons I also stand for their rights to not need to confer to standards of 'acceptable' masculinity yadayada

so basically if said boys hit age 16 and started lifting weights, got a STEM career and came up to not so feminist friendly ideas about the sexes , is that fine too? ofc not. thats patriarchy..

(and the irony is that feminism is enabled by men who still believe in it and get suckered and would collapse in a decade if most men didn't believe or desire actual patriarchy)
